Just got mail from my Local Cis office without any email/text update/case status update!!!

We now have our I-485 scheduled on December 24 @ 10am...

Hope this will be a very nice Christmas present!

I had biometrics for I=485 AND EAD I-765 on the day 17 of november, still no updates on my mail or email, but I think a lot of people in California still in the same situation right?

gotta wait, i think holidays slowed down stuff

i got my biometrics letter on friday and i am scheduled for thursday the 11th of december but i would be going to baltimore for an early one on friday cause thats when my wife is free to take me.

got my fingers crossed.

now i am looking at people who have had their biometrics done to see how long it takes before they get their EAD approved.

I know I'm late but I am hoping somebody will share their own experience with me. My lawyer filed the i485,i131,i765 concurrently and was sent off to the chicago lock box on the 9th of october. Got 3 receipts a week later, Then received my biometric appointment later a week after I received my receipt and appointment was schedule for november 13th which i have already done. before my appointment I received an RFE on november 5 because my lawyer forgot to include my B/C. rfe was responded to on november 20th and they received my rfe response on november 24th. Same day status changed to rfe response received. since the 24th till now it is still saying Response to RFE was received and also My i131 and i765 went from Initial review to Case was receive. My question is, is this normal? and how long will it take for my response to RFE to be approved?. Thanks

Yes, I think California and more specifically San Diego is taking at least 5 and a half months to process an I-485 application. Other states are just so lucky! Prolly not as many immigrants there!

Sat, 12/02/2017 3:06 AM - Received notification that my biometrics appointment was scheduled but the document showing the date and time has not yet been uploaded

Tue, 12/05/2017 - Biometrics Appointment Letter was uploaded to my USCIS account. Scheduled for 12/22/2017 at 8:00 am at USCIS Tustin

Tue, 12/05/2017 2:00 PM - Early walk-in biometrics completed at USCIS Tustin

Our online status is still "Fingerprint Fee Was Received." So frustrating. Have any of you had luck calling and getting more information? It's been over a month since our biometrics appointment and I see a lot of your statuses changed within a week or two to testing and interview after biometrics.

Also, if we were going to get an RFE, would we have gotten it already?

Yep, same here, been waiting and seeing other status move. I had called them and they said atleast 60 days to interview letter, but some are getting sooner or their status is changing after a week or two. I don't think you or me will get rfe now since its been a while and most rfe is coming close to the bio date.
