Our AOS is currently under "Testing & Interview" but the EAD and AP is still under "Initial Review" and has been since October 7th. Is this wait time normal? Or should I be expecting an RFE since it's taking this long? I just don't understand how the one case status is moving along and the others seem to have stalled...

Your wait time is completely normal, even faster than many cause you are already in testing and interview. EAD can take up to 90 days to be approved. I would say The speed at which cases move is mostly dependent on the case load your local office and whether they're backed up or not among other determining factors

6/20/14- Married

8/29/14- Sent AOS Package

9/2/14- Delivered to Chicago lockbox

9/5/14- Received texts with receipt numbers, Online status updated for all four cases to " Acceptance" & " Initial review "

9/9/14- NOA1 hard copies received in mail

9/12/14- Biometrics letter recieved ( Date set for 9/22/14 )

9/15/14- Biometrics completed

9/16/14- Submitted EAD Expedite through congressman

9/24/14- Case moved to " Testing and interview "

9/26/14- EAD and AP Approved

10/2/14- EAD Mailed

10/3/14- EAD 'Delivered'.. but never recieved :ranting:

10/16/14- Interview date received for 11/19 - My birthday! :D

11/19/14- Interview day- Approved- PR status registered & Welcome letter mailed

11/24/14- Welcome letter recieved

11/26/14- GC Mailed

11/29/14- GC Received

ROC

09/23/16- Mailed ROC package

10/03/16- Package sent back due to missing documents

10/05/16- Resent package

I would imagine that is completely normal since you already did your biometrics and are now waiting for an interview. The AP and EAD do not really require any more effort from us once we send in the applications. I wouldn't worry too much if I were you))

Ok so my case finally appeared in the case status online today after I received the 3 NOA case numbers on Friday night.....But sad to see that they have the reveived date online as today 11/10 after they actually received and signed for it on 10/20.....

Yeah my dates are on the site as November 10. Guess that makes us November filers) At least they have our stuff and are starting to work on it... Much better than them losing our files and starting over again from scratch.. I do regret paying $50 to overnight it to chicago now though) Could have been a new top))

:dancing::dancing::dancing: Yay, i got my biometric letter on Saturday Nov 8th, appoint date is set for 11/17th. Letter Its dated Oct 31st. Hope everyone get theirs soon. Is such a great feeling when you get those letters in the mailbox :dancing::dancing::dancing:

10/24= sent package via USPS priority

10/27= package delivered at Chicago Lockbox

11/3= received hard copies of NOAs (I485, I765)

11/8 = received biometric letter (Notice date 10/31st)

11/17 = biometric @ 9AM

Husband had his biometrics today at 11 am in the Milwaukee office. The process was quick, easy and everyone was friendly. Advice is, don't take electronics, please treat it like airport security as in remove all metal objects BEFORE having to go through the detector and make sure you have your letter and ID ready. The security officers told my husband that he was literally the easiest person to deal with because he listened to what they were telling him to do at the security checkpoint. So come prepared, be alert, calm and friendly. Odds are if you are prepared and do exactly what they tell you, they won't be cranky with you :)

My I-485 now says my fingerprint fee was accepted on November 6. I wonder if I'll get my biometrics appointment letter now? I haven't received the hardcopy of my NOA's just yet but I figured it would take at least a week at the least.

06-03-2022: Interview scheduled (online notice).

06-10-2022: Interview letter received via USPS.

07-11-2022: Naturalization Interview

I checked mine and my I-765 & I-131 are both now saying received on October 23rd.

It took me about 10 days to receive the biometrics appt. letter. You should have it soon! I'm guessing you'll be scheduled before the end of the month :)

So looks like my wife is getting a job offer. Her current EAD expires May of 2015. I wonder if we should try expediting her case on the basis of hardship using the job offer she is about to get. Not sure how long the whole process will take so if by May we are not done yet then she won't be able to work anymore.

October filer here too... We sent our aos, ead and travel last October 22 3014 got the email and text notificationon October 24.. Still waiting for the physical NOA and biometrics letters too...

hi there...

i filed mine las oct 23rd it shown they received it but until now i do not receive anything or a notification from USICS that they received it...tis more than two weeks now... huhuhu

i filed AOS last oct 21st and received last oct 23rd...until now i have not heard anything from them...no notification or a receipt in the mail...did not received any email and text from them...

im a little concern...
