We technically aren’t even October filers; we filed 9/29/14. We had some problems getting the documentation together responding to an RFE related to our sponsor… so it is really our fault we are so delayed. Still, it hurts!

In www.trackitt.com you can get the information the timeline information in one webpage as a grid (similar to an excel spreadsheet). This helps give a snap shot where everyone stands in the process.

If interested, follow these steps once you go to the www.trackitt.com site

1. Click on 'Green Card Trackers' on top left.

2. Select 'USA Family - Based Trackers'

3. Click on 'Concurrent I-130 / I-485'

4. Click on the Green '+ Show Filters' icon

5. Pick the filters that best suit you (several options here) and click 'Go'

6. Once the results pull up, scroll to the right and click on 'Application Filed'. This sorts by filing date.

7. Scroll further to the right and you will start getting a clearer picture of where each filer stands

Hope this helps

The 50% of October filers who have interview dates are i130 filers. What about those who are adjusting status from k1 who don't file i130 at all. The data on that trackitt isn't including those at all but only counting those filing I130/I485.

I am not very familiar with forms and process related to adjusting status from K1. However, I just went to the www.trackitt.com site and noticed that they have a tracker for I-129F.

The note below it says "Use this tracker if you have filed I-129F to bring your fiance to the United States for marriage to you or to bring your spouse (K-3/K-4 visas) to the United States to complete processing for permanent resident status."

If you think that this tracker will help you, then follow the steps I sent earlier. The only change would be in step 3......you would clock on '1-129F' instead of 'Concurrent I-130 / I-485'

If I'm an aos applicant why would I look up i129f? I entered the country on a k1 visa already. The only thing I need to look at is the processing times for i485. K1 applicants do not file with an aos at the same time.... It's separate.

I'm just trying to point out that when you said 50% of October filers had their interview dates already, that was not accurate. That percentage only applies to those filing i130 & i485 together so I don't want anyone adjusting status from a k1 visa to get their hopes up because in reality they're going to be waiting a lot longer
