RFE can be for ANYTHING. a missed signature, more information required, more proof of relationship.

No one can tell you what it could possibly be because every case is different, what happened to someone wont relate to you.

Pictures are secondary evidence, boarding passes etc are most important.. but you didn't send any pictures of you two together at all?

Honestly this is the first time i've seen someone not send any photographs, they could be asking for that.

Be calm and just wait for the hardcopy. Worrying and fretting wont make it any easier, nor will listening to other peoples RFEs on totally different issues.

On the bright side, remember, they are looking at your file! you could be approved within the month (going by most rfe)

It's so easy to get worked up over something you don't know about yet.

But the moment you get the hard copy just fix whatever it is they want, send it back the next day, and then hopefully the next alert you receive is an approval!

i've never seen a major RFE, and if all you didn't do was send pictures, then i'm sure yours will be a small one.

Just relax, and know that this part of the journey is almost over!

As far as photos, yes, you and your fiance ARE required to submit two passport size color photos for each of you. It is mentioned on I-129F Instruction (page 6, #8b) http://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/files/form/i-129finstr.pdf

You are welcome. The reason why I knew because when I went to CVS to get a new passport photos for my AOS, the guy behind the desk asked if I have a digital copy of it or I wanted they take my picture. You can also upload it on Facebook, go to CVS, and login onto your account. They will adjust it for you according to US passport photo requirements. Make sure your fiance takes the picture according to the requirement.

Filed: Country: Canada
Timeline

Don't be be stressed out I did not changed my name from my previous marriage too , I used the same last name to remarry as all my ID and passport is in that name. I got a RFE to send in photocopy of original married certificate as we had only send in the registration of marriage which was valid for 3 months as it took us 8 weeks to obtain the married certificate.

Dont panic; wait for the letter as it can be anything

Good luck , let us know what they ask for !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dancing:
