Can anyone tell me how long it takes for the embassy to schedule an appointment, its been a week since my fiance submitted ds 160 and still no interview date and also will they mail or email it THANK YOU..

Have you compelted all of the forms that were received from the embassy? If so you can send them an email KingstonIV@state.gov

He dint get any papers yet he submitted ds160 last week i was just wondering how long before they schedule his appointment.

You need to email the embassy and ask them to send you his packet 3. In the packet it gives instructions to complete the DS-160. You are also supposed to email them and let them know that it is completed. You also have to send a copy of the picture page of his passport to them, and in the packet there are instructions on how to proceed with his medical. I received packet 3 and 4 by email. If you have not done this you will not get a response from them. He needs to do all of this before they will schedule him an appt. Also keep the confirmation page for the DS 160, he will need to take that to his interview in Kingston.
