my fiance is studying to be an engineer in his home country of morocco. hopefully by the time our process is finished he will be graduating this summer and he can come to the us! i know it will take a bit for him to get settled, green card, etc...

but i spoke to someone who is an engineer and he said as long as he graduated from an accredited university there should be no problems for him to get a job. any ideas of how would i find out if his uni is accredited or not? i hope he won't have to go to school all over again. :crying:

My husband is an engineer also, civil. Actually there is alot he has to go thru here. From what i understand he has to take the FE test, then the PE test and work under an engineer here in the USA for four years (each state has differnt rules) He can apply to the university and have his credits evaluated to see what he needs and whatnot ect...

This is so far what i have gotten.
