Hello, please correct me if I'm wrong or if there are more information I should know about it. Thanks in advance.

If I understand correctly, after a week of receiving my approval NOA2, I should contact the National Visa Center to confirm if they recieve my packet and then ask for my MNL case number? Should I wait for the NVC to contact me of what is needed before gathering all of the future requirement documents? I know that I need to get my I-134 form, another letter of intent marry, more evidence of on going relationships ready. However, I have no idea what need to be prepare next beside those that I listed. Should I get other stuffs ready before I recieve any letter from the NVC or the embassy? Also, will the interview has to be before the validation date? Please enlighten me. Thank you :)

NVC should have your MNL# in a few days after approval, call and get it from them, Best to call Early morning time USA. Don't wait for NVC letter it could take a few weeks.

No Interview doesn't have to been done before Validation time

Follow Hank's Guidelines and it will make it easy:

Based on that website's information, it seems like once I get my case number, I can pay for the visa fee and schedule for an interview without receiving the letter yet? Please correct me if Im wrong.

In my case, I paid my visa when I saw my status at CEAC "in transit" ---- in transit to the consulate...

but others paid their visa right away upon knowing their MNL #

All you will get from NVC is your MNL #, you can call to acquire this, they should still send you a letter with the MNL #... after that NVC is just a fading imagine in the rear view mirror. ;)

The validation date on the NOA2 will be extended by the embassy for up to a year if needed... they do it automatically.

Do not wait for any "welcome " letter from USEM... some are still waiting years later... like my wife...

Follow the guide (link below, follow flashing arrow) and you will be done in short order.
