Its best to avoid white-out on any sort of legal form or application. If you cant reprint the form, or its too much trouble, neatly cross out the mistake and initial it. Then write the correction as near to the correct field as possible. Hope this helps, and good luck! :)

I would also try to avoid it and print out the paper again. I looks better and more professional. Good luck.

I was told, when I asked this, that crossing-out and re-writing the answer (neatly), then initialling it, is better than using white-out. Definitely a better option than re-doing the whole thing if it's a form that can't be saved - we had a couple of (very) minor things that needed correcting on our G-325A.

I'm sure plenty of people will come forward to say they've used white-out with no trouble at all, though!

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Since this is an official document, you should definitely cross out and initial any mistakes that you make.

Think of it like writing a check and making a mistake. I don't think too many banks would accept checks that have whiteout on it =)

Just use the backspace/delete and re type the correct information. White out will really mess up your screen :P

Its not an issue of fixing a mistake on a form I can reprint. Its a mistake my fiance made on his g325a, which he already signed. So given what folks are saying, I will probably cross it out and initial it OR wait until he sends a corrected form with his signature.

I will probably wait on the corrected form. it will take couple of days for you to get it. once you sent out, you will not have control of it , so better to make things as perfect as you can. just my opinion.

also, try to have him print out bank forms with singnature from now on , that will help to save time.
