Since the last thread started by and for October NOA1s still waiting, it appears as though I'm the only October (regular poster) who is still waiting.

Am I alone?

I know it's all about patience, but when you are the only person you know left, and they've seemed to move quickly in November, you gotta wonder.

No touches, no nothing.

We got our NOA1 October 13 for a K-3 and we are still waiting ... not very patiently. We were touched in November but that was probably because our address in the UK changed. If you search timelines there are still plenty of Octobers unapproved even though Novembers are getting approved ... don't understand how they can process apllications so randomly. My husband is arriving next Wednesday for a 10 day visit. It is what keeps me from total melt down.

If I didn't get an RFE I would have been one of the first Oct NOA2's, because I was touched on the Jan 16th!

As it is, I'm still languishing, waiting to see what the RFE is. Still hasn't arrived by post.

I predict I will be one of the LAST Oct filiers to get NOA2.

Thanks everyone. I know it's always a waiting game, and I know there are people who have been waiting longer than me, but it doesn't have to mean I can't be upset that mine isn't here.

I wouldn't be so frustrated if I didn't see all these Novembers starting to come in.

Everyone always says, "I can feel it's gonna be soon." but that's just it, I don't even get that feeling.

Even a "touch" to tell me my application hasn't evaporated would be nice.

*sigh*

:(

Best of luck to those of you waiting!

Not that I'm a regular poster but I'm a late October filer (24/10). I've been stressing out waiting, looking at the Texas timelines and seeing I was the only one left in October not to have received my NOA2 ... then just about half an hour ago I received three emails to say it had arrived!!! No touches at all. So yours MUST be coming very soon. I know how you feel though, wondering how you managed to get in the slow pile. It seemed like everyone was getting approved before me! Seems like a very odd filing system is used at the CSC, that's all I can think!

We were the same time frame, mine just came yesterday. I was beginning to wonder the same thing. Keeping my fingers crossed for ya.

Patience is required for this process.

Everyone always says, "I can feel it's gonna be soon." but that's just it, I don't even get that feeling.

*I* can feel it's gonna be soon, though! It is!!! ;)

All I can say is... a week ago, it looked like we were about 2 weeks away from CSC starting to approve late-Oct filers, because they'd been stuck on 'first 10 days of October' for around a month. Then they suddenly started to approve people from the whole of October and the beginning of November, seemingly at random.... a complete scattergun approach. They're still getting through them, and... if people are suddenly getting approved without touches, that hints that you're going to suddenly find that email when you're really not expecting it. Probably when you've told yourself you're not going to check your case status anymore for fear of losing your sanity!

You know I have my fingers & toes all crossed for you.... HURRRRRRY UP CSC!!!! Damn, it, yours is going to get here soon if I have to go down there and approve the thing myself!

So you're who's ahead of me in the 'K-3 from the UK' queue. Hurry up and get approved already, would you? ;) It is a bit frustrating to see so many K-1 approvals while there have been no VJ K-3 approvals out of CSC since before Christmas. There are still VJers waitng for K-3s who filed in September and before. :(

K-1's, be optimistic. CSC has been approving K-1 petitions both last week and this week; your approvals will come soon. We poor already-married-type persons will have to content ourselves with knowing that at least someone is doing something in California. ;)

Now don't be sad... I'm sure you're about to receive your NOA2. I've seen some November filers getting approved so they're really working on all our cases. Good luck and hope we all get what we've been waiting for!

Firstly congrats to all of you who received NOA2's recently!

One thing I would like to know is if your petition was transferred to another service center, should one start counting the days from receipt at the service center that one was transferred to. ( I presume nothing was done prior to that-except transfer of file)

In our case our petition for a K3 visa was received in Chicago and a NOA1 was sent out October (12th or 16th)- however CSC emailed notice on 1 Nov that our petition was received on 26th Oct. As far as I can tell from the CSC timelines posted on the site the average days from NOA1 to approval is 100days. ( that would be 100days to many!!)

I am soooooo tired of waiting...... I am hoping that our NOA2 will magically appear and make me extremely happy. I am so lonely without my husband. :crying:

Do you think the CSC will get around to the K3's soon? Anybody out there who has a NOA2 for a K3 from the CSC filed middle Oct to early Nov??? This waiting is really nerve wrecking!!!

Removal of conditions:

I751 sent to CSC via express mail with signature request 12/08/09

Infopass appointment to get one year extension stamped into passport 12/14/09 Issued, no problems

Cheque cashed 12/10/09

I797 Notice of action dated 12/09/2009 received 12/16/09

I797 C Notice of action dated 12/17/2009 received 12/22/09

Biometrics appointment 01/14/2010 11:am

"Touched" 01/15/2010

Email received - Card production ordered 03/22/10

Approval letter received 03/22/10, Decision date 03/18/10

03/24/2010 Approval email

03/27/2010 Card received!

Remember too, Kinsey, that some people never show a touch or the NOA2 online (or via email) - then suddenly get the NOA2 in snail mail. Heishe springs to mind as the most recent case of this. I believe she saw the approval online a few WEEKS after she got NOA2 in the mail. Obviously its not a perfect system.

But I would totally feel the same way as you do, fwiw!
