Has anyone flown with AirAsia? Are they safe and reliable? Are they more preferable than PAL Express and Cebu Pacific?

I flew with AirAsia last February from Manila to Cagayan De Oro City and back. No complaints. Overall good experience, especially considering the cheap price. Haven't been on Pal Express or Cebu Pacific, so can't comment on them.

I prefer Cebu Pacific or PAL. Been flying between the two for more than 10 yrs. I flew with Air Asia twice and all were super delayed.

Any airline going in or out of Manila is a ####### shoot, due to it being crowded with air traffic.

I have flown many airlines between Manila, Davao, Cebu they all kinda sucks in general, One good thing airfare is cheap for the most part.

I like to take the early flights, they seem to have the least delays.

Hmm this reminds me of my experience with AirAsia. After I had my medical exam, I had to go back to Cebu and it was delayed for 2 hours. As a result I was late for my 9:00 pm shift for work... On top of that, the waiting area was overcrowded and I ended up standing.. sigh..

I prefer CebuPacific though. It's clean and the service is okay so far
