Would you still be on VJ after all your petitions are approved?

Curious how many of you would still check/post Vj after getting all throu the INS process? And why?

I am not sure if I will still be around once I am completely done....after arriving in US Jan 05 I didn't post for a long time....until the next stage.

We were waiting for our original petitions to be approved when I found this site....so glad I didn't find it earlier....I would have worried too much.

As it was I just read the instructions and filed confident that I had done everything correctly. No RFE's....so far....touch wood!

I'm an Other. I stay to offer support to the ones that are having a hard time handling the stress of the wait. Most of my work is done in PM's. I don't stay current on the changing USCIS rules, so I don't offer advice on specifics, just give support when needed.

That would be my concern, too: that anything that I may pick up along the way will be rendered useless in the future because the rules changed . . . again.

It seems USCIS is always changing, for example when we were going thru the process, there was no IMBRA. Forms change as do addresses that things get send/transferred to.

Definitely would stay. First of all what the heck else would I do??? lol. Secondly though, to share my experience not just of the visa rules and such but of how to get through the stress and heartache one day at a time. Others' experience has helped me so I feel I should give back when I am able. Plus I'd want to be here to cheer on the others who went through it with me and who I have come to know.

I'm still here...almost 3 years now. I didn't think I'd be on much after Sujeet came. But then after I stopped working and he is gone working all day, I end up back here a lot!

I've been here for almost 3 years now (March 2004).... It's been almost 2 years since we got our GC and still posting... but I don't know for how much longer...
