I-129F "Proof" Pictures Submission - Format?

I put 20 pictures in clear plastic 3 ring binder folder, and described each one!

THAT was the first thing, that the interviewer, at the interview wanted to see from my now, wife.,.,.,.,..,he said, "show me some pictures?"

some people down-play the importance of pictures as secondary evidence.,.,.,I disagree.,,..as it was very important to the office, and he asked many questions about them!

Just do it, the right way, as the VJ site, says.

I sent them about 20 color 8x10's on paper from 3 week trip without any problems.

Question though... Doesn't the USEM have the original 129 or in my case 130 package from USCIS / NVC, including pics? Why would beneficiary need to show additional pics at interview?

Hope this helps you. This VJ site has been a godsend to be honest!!. Got the approval though it took darn long!! 6 months at TSC. I included just printed out colour pictures on 8.5 by 11inch printer paper. The attorney photocopied them on black and white..about 10 in total with dates and places..thats it really.

I submitted our photos printed on regular white paper, in black and white, from our home laser printer about 10 minutes before wrapping up our packet and shipping it off and they worked fine (the lady officer who did our interview even commented on how cute we were!) :)

To echo other posters, it's less about the format than the content.

you'll be fine.

Good afternoon, all!

We are about to finally finish our I-129F and I have attached our 57 or so pictures with double sided tape to white paper, then labeled the pictures clearly with names of all in the pictures, what is happening in the picture and where the picture was taken. I also put a heading at the top of the page and wrote my (petiitoner's) name and that it is I-129F. This way it's easier to see which ones go together; ie "Family retreat" etc.

I did this because I read it on visajourney somewhere, but I've now read that others have submitted the pictures in a clear plastic bag.

Can I leave my pictures as they are or should I change the format? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

5 or 6 photos is enough. Don't give them more than they need.

Yes the pictures in your package gets sent from NVC to USEM.

The need to bring pictures at the interview would be to show an ongoing relationship, meaning the focus should be on pictures taken after the I129 or I130 were submitted.

Thanks for reply.

However showing evidence of continuing relationship will be rather difficult since I returned to the US shortly after our marriage to begin the visa journey.

Possibly a ring finger photo would suffice? Ha ha.
