Hitler may have been RAISED Catholic, but dean is correct in stating that he hated all religions but one (naturally, that of Hitler worship).

Calling Hitler Catholic is like calling Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche Christian (Nietzsche WAS a pastor's son--in later life he claimed that God was dead). Needless to say, Nazism derived a lot of its whole philo makeup from Nietzsche.

• education (his school grades spanned the Austrian equivalents of "F+" to "D")
  
• physically (as he was short and pudgy, the Austro-Hungarian army actually REJECTED him as a recruit; the German Army took him, probably as they needed whatever numbers they could get due to facing massive Russia on one front and UK on the other)

On another note, I am getting completely tired of all the Islamic articles on VJ. Maybe it's just me, but it seems like every other day there is something being posted negatively regarding Islam.

The truth hurts.

I'm not sure why this is surprising. The war itself is unpopular, people don't understand much about the islamic world outside of a daily diet of news media that exaggerates the threat of terrorist attack (in much the same way that it exaggerates the threat of violent crime - making people think that there is more of it about than there really is).

Certainly it is true that there is a broad concensus of opinion that holds and unfavourable view of Islam and muslims in general. Whether or not it is justified is another matter entirely.

For the pseudo Christian faction, how about Pat Robertson and George W. Bush? The former openly advocates assassinations and the latter has the blood of tens of thousands of civilians on his hands.
