Generally speeding up? Ah I don't know about that. Maybe. But I'm more in the camp of the batches argument and/or certain adjudicators simply processing faster than others, etc.

My congressman's office did say that both the NVC and TSC have hired a lot of new folk, so who knows....

9/8/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS
9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

6/4/15 - Status changed to AP (which meant that we could schedule the interview)

6/16/15 - Medical

6/17/15 - K1 APPROVED!!!!

6/30/15 - Passport and sealed envelope delivered via courier

Yeah, the later approvals are pretty annoying. And forget about November, did y'all see the NOA2 from December? Lol

But I'm trying to see the silver lining. I mean, if they're gonna do that cr@p, then at least it should advance the new "normal processing times" window begin-date whenever that is updated soon ... which seems to take forever each month when it comes due. Ya know? :wacko:

Of course, it isn't at all clear to me just how they go about calculating that date. I've read different accounts of it and still don't know which account is correct, if any. So we'll just have to wait and see. There's that familiar term again "wait".... :rofl:

I personally think it's an ploy to try to fudge the processing date numbers for management.

Yeah, that too is a possibility.

I hope that's right because this whole process is just unsettling. I've had more breakdowns, mood swings to last me a lifetime and that's just in the last couple of weeks.

2 solid days of approvals does not make a trend, sadly. We are also seeing a lack of approvals dates from April 6th, but maybe their status update system is screwed up again. Would not be the first time, after all...

But we can keep dreaming that they'll keep up this level of approvals for at least a few weeks. That already would make such a difference!

Yes that's correct. A trend it is not. Time will tell. I'd like to see something anything regarding whether or not they're gonna transfer existing TSC I-129F petitions elsewhere, likely to the CSC. My congressman's office said that this was their plan, but who knows. We certainly haven't seen any evidence of it yet. 'Course that doesn't mean much......

Exactly 215 days guys! I am out of hope! I don't know when it's going to happen or what is going to happen. I am so tired of waiting. I called multiple times but they only give you the information that you see online! This is just a pain and continous dissapointment in TCS. Sorry guys it's just it's been way too long and I kow you've all experienced that or are still in the process. Thanks.

Hi I just found this forum and am seeing that many of you are around 7 months and still waiting just like me. My fiancé keeps asking why it's taking so long and to call and see what's going on but, like you all know, dealing with immigration is a pain. I'm happy I'm not the only one waiting and am hoping that we all get approvals soon.

We really feel for all of you still waiting. This must be an all time worst for processing times :(

We waited a long time as well and it didn't get easier. It got worse. The approval is like a magic medicine though. When it arrives after such a long time, it doesn't quite sink in straight away, but that heavy, awful feeling lifts immediately.

I'm just grateful for such a great group of people to pass the time with. Someday this will all be just a memory for all of us :)

Agreed. The September group adopted us and supported us while we waited. We've met some wonderful people on here.
