Yeah, what April said. Something isn't making sense with Sabrina&Chuck's posts...

ya we've been at TSC at first ...correct due their ya let's say stuck in Augst 2014 applications..they decided officially by usics to transfer all I-129f applications and 2 others to CSC cause they're way faster

Did you get an official notice that you have personally been transferred from TSC to CSC?

Have you even actually received an NOA2 yet, or are you just anticipating that you will receive one soon?

You cannot obtain a WLC until you have been actually approved.

The Dallas lockbox and the texas service center aren't the same. The lockbox is just an intake facility. It doesn't process anything. There are many lockboxes in different cities and several service centers in other states.

All lockboxes are just for sending the petition. They are then routed, not transferred, to a service center.

Please change your timeline to say that you were not transferred and that your filing location is CSC.

There's a more detailed description of the lockbox vs service center in the link below the red writing in my signature. Take a look at it. It's a common mistake but being confused about it and filling in the timeline wrong makes the data here on VJ not as accurate.

Just wanted to post an update that after receiving NOA2 on March 12th (NOA1 was 9/2/14) I received another text message to update me that the case was transferred to NVC on March 24th. The text messages were received at exactly 9:30pm EST (NOA2) and 8:00pm EST (transfer to NVC). They were received from different numbers.

I'm heartbroken for those who haven't received their approvals and feel a bit guilty mine came in early. I'm so glad to be done with TSC for now but does anyone know if I continue to track my case through USCIS website or if it's all done through phone calls and such...? My fiance has scheduled his medical for end of April, I hope that's not jumping the gun?

For medical it's dependent on the embassy I think. For vietnam I think it has to be done no more than 1 week out from the interview. So you basically have to wait until the interview date.

Yeah, it's all dependent on the embassy/consulate. From what I've seen, UK Doctors in Knightsbridge will not do medical unless you have interview date.

Thank you both for your quick replies. He is in Australia. Looks like he'll be rescheduling most likely considering nothing has gone to plan thus far. Only a handful of docs to choose from and they are all booked weeks in advance. Nothing is easy :(

Honestly it's just getting ridiculous at this point. Heading to the states next week to be with my fiancé so that'll be a nice escape.

One approval yesterday? I know there are ones we can't see because of people that aren't on VJ or don't update info. At least when I saw 6 or 7 a day I felt like things were moving. This is just depressing.

We got our NOA-2 approved yesterday!

I know there is disagreement on how helpful Senate or Congressional offices can be, but I know our approval had a lot to do with our Senate caseworker. Our case went from background checks to waiting for approval early last week. Similar to JamesRenee, he called USCIS and asked the USCIS rep to get our case in front of a supervisor. That was last Wednesday and we were approved last night, so about a week turn around. I'm super glad we worked with an office and believe everything they told us. Different experiences for different folks, I guess.

From now on, I'll devote all my hoping and wishing to speedy approvals for the rest of you Septemebers. Although there is some occassional hostility in this group, we all have the same end goal and I'll be so happy for everyone to finally marry their loved one. Wedding planning has to be a lot simpler than the visa process, right?

9-27-2014 Sent in I-129F
9-29-2014 I-129F received by TSC

so after the big confusion by lockbox and service center ..did I fixed the timeline ..but it says they've received it 25th ..does this mean it's noa1, or is noa1 received by having the hard copy In the mail box? I mean it has to be sent to either NJ to his house or to my house to Germany. Am I right with that?
