If you go to Processing Status: Igor's List and sort the results by date sent you will see that almost all petitions that were sent from August 23th to 31th they have a noa1 of September.

I wouldn't put too much stock into the timelines here. It's a very small sample size, the percentage of people who actually fill it out are small, the number of active forum members is *really* small. I wouldn't really use it as anything but a VERY rough idea of what's happening.

I don't hate anyone's success. My reply to your post was to wish you well.

I understand wbeem what you are saying. I know that you are not "hating" anyone's success OR are you "not happy" about earlier approvals. You are simply stating that it's extremely frustrating and pretty much unfair that a petition that was filed before yours is approved...whether the reason is because it's at CSC /TSC, country or any other factor. When you pay your fees and work hard to put all the documentation together for a process that should take no longer than 5 months...it wears you down a LOT. :-)

I think I read somewhere that in 2014 USCIS got 11k 129fs. So if we do a little calculation like this: Lets say that for each month on Vj are 200fillers from TSC and 200 from CSC equal to 400*12=4800 petitions so lets multiply it again by 2 =9600 . I think that there are approximately 40% on VJ of the people who filled for 129f. It could be wrong by this is my opinion.

You are doing a great job. Probably you are the only one left who is trying to do something that will help all of us. I wish i could help you more

No, the skunkworks team is still together, still working on stuff. The problem we've encountered is that all of the people we've reached out to either have abandoned or cause or just have other "higher priority" stuff going on. Quite frankly we've run out of ideas to try. The last idea we came up with was to get the CSC folk to send us copies of their NOA1 and NOA2 data so that we could take it back to our federal reps to prove the time imbalance. I created a new thread asking the CSC filers for help and KD was going to process their replies. But to-date not one CSC filer has actually helped us by sending us that data.

So we're at a bit of an impasse WRT what to try next. Personally I'm just hoping that the next "normal processing times" update will move to somewhere around september 11th so that I can open a service request.

If you have any ideas for us to try please let us know.

Officially, no. But I've read of one or two couples on Visa Journey who waited close on a year. It's almost unthinkable, isn't it!

I was the one trying to help you, then VJ banned me. They told me not to send them messages. I replied with a  . I was banned for 5 days. They will never be able to stop me from getting on VJ because I can use Proxies and create different accounts but i wanted to be polite and respect their decision. I blame VJ for scaring people. A few CSC folks on some threads they said that they will help us. However when they saw that VJ moderator marked our thread as spamming they changed their mind.

This is probably not quite the kind of idea you had in mind, but here goes.

We know that part of the problem is as you describe - high turnover of those with a vested interest in resolution. What happens is that after several months of waiting, people start to get upset and that's when there is a surge of support for all and any kind of action to be taken. By the time this happens, those unhappy filers are only a few months for approval. As you and Kristen have pointed out before, for there to be any effect, people have to push through this fight for the long haul. I wonder if the approach would be to start a hand-off. Find filers who are willing and able to work with you so that when the current cases are eventually out of TSC, those recent filers are already on board and can start doing the same. It is very difficult to stick with it, not so much due to lack of investment in getting some satisfactory response from USCIS, but more due to the time involved in the next stages of the process where the couples are trying to tie up matters in the beneficiary's home country and preparation is fully under way in the US by the petitioner. I think people genuinely find their time is at a premium once the petition is sent to the consulate.

Hahahaha unfortunately my time is always at a premium but if there's a will there's a way. On top of everything I've added baseball 3 times a week! At least I'm down to 4 months on my masters so after that I'm willing to throw in more effort for anyone that needs it.

The ironic thing about this situation, considering VJ is a do-it-yourself site, is that a lawyer would be the type of person to tackle this issue. Someone dedicated to the cause regardless of approval or non-approval. Someone with an office and staff in Washington that will deal with this issue non-stop. 365 days a year.

No, in the last fiscal year there were about 50,000 i-129fs. 11k is probably about right for the last quarter, but not the year. Edited by April+Daniel

Does anyone know when the next TSC Processing Time report will be released? Is it every month or every two months? So April or May?

Maybe then they'll realize they're continuing to slack.

The USCIS rep I spoke with yesterday said "in a couple of weeks." They've been updating it about once a month for the last few months, usually towards the beginning of the month. FWIW.
