Doing it first or last wouldn't change what gets processed when. You still have to wait for it to come back and it would still be variable. I can't imagine it affects the wait at all.

Congressman's office said it's for both and they use a variety of companies to do it.

I suspect they'd deny you if it's something disqualifying. That's the point of this part of the process. Along with the paperwork being in order.

Ive been stressing out with this whole process thinking something is going to go wrong, just the minor things like what if we get an RFE and are unable to provide more evidence or what if i get denied at the interview stage for something stupid, we put as much primary evidence as we could find and it looks really convincing.

Welcome to the club! If it makes you feel better, the denial rate is *really* low. It's published....somewhere, with pdfs of the denial reasons. I think vietnam, for instance, was only like a 3% denial rate. I think they've already decided for the most part if you will be denied or not before you show up.

Ok since I haven't joined the group of y'all who have called the USCIS directly to inquire on your respective cases, I decided to make the leap today and do just that. I spoke with a guy who was nice enough and seemed sympathetic. In the end I was basically told everything that y'all have been told: that they're working on it, my case has been reviewed and is waiting for petition approval and that I should be hearing something soon. I was also told of the processing time window, which I acknowledged. He told me that I should call back after the next update (which he estimated will happen in two weeks from now, BTW) and file a service request then if I haven't received an approval before then. Funny, but he also asked if I had ever called to inquire about this case. I hadn't and told him as much, but somehow that question struck me as a bit odd. Do they keep track of that stuff?

Should we guys start making pressure to USCIS about TSC again. I feel like since people stopped writing to them they have stopped working on 129fs. Or they are working in just a few cases a day.

I'm still bugging them, just not as much. I called in a favor from a federal judge in TX to see what he can do and if he can find out what's going on. It's my last ditch effort but he may know someone who can shed light since he's in administrative law. It may take a week to hear back but he's a nice guy and he knows I wouldn't ask for his time unless I really needed it.

Also got a random response from Sen. Nelson, he keeps inquiring eventhough I haven't asked and he keeps getting the same response, so at least he's on board and trying. I'll reach out to other people today again.

If you go to Processing Status: Igor's List and sort the results by date sent you will see that almost all petitions that were sent from August 23th to 31th they have a noa1 of September.

Ok that makes sense. Are all the statistics on this website based off of forum members and their timelines?

We just want to move on with our lives and never look back. Nothing will ever change. Very low priority for Congress.
