When do the text and email alerts usually get sent out? I'm assuming it varies

I thought it would vary, but the August approvals have consistently been receiving theirs after 8PM. In fact, many reported getting an email/text at 830 specifically. Weird.

From what I've been noticing is that RFE's come anytime. Approvals are coming at about 8:30.

the "we are doing background checks" is a canned answer. There is no telling when you will get approved. I remember somone here was told the same thing in February and they have yet to receive their NOA2

It varies somewhat, depending on circumstances. Generally speaking however it isn't that long. Just as a suggestion, be wary of believing what your representative has told you about your case, as they (your rep) isn't always given the correct information. For example, I was told that my background check was completed a while back; in January IIRC. So who knows. If I was to strictly go by what I was told, then I have simply been waiting on getting time from an I-129F adjudicator. However given the lack of transparency, there's no way to really know where your petition is; you can only know that it hasn't been approved yet.

Wow that's such disappointing news. We were so excited to hear that...But I should have assumed nothing is a for sure when it comes to this process. Thanks for the info!

Hi! I just looked at my phone and I saw a missed call from TX. No voicemail. Now I'm all worried that it had to do something with our case. Do you guys know if TSC contacts anyone by phone? I did not think so. Thanks!

Yeah that's a San Antonio area number. The TSC is in Mesquite.

210 is San Antionio. TSC is in Dallas. TSC wouldn't contact you directly anyway. USCIS would and through your receipt number and regular mail.

Cannot say enough how happy it makes me to see September filers being approved...praying that the rest of ours come soon as this process is taking an immense toll on all of us.

Our response to the RFE was received yesterday. We are back in the TSC process. Not a good place to be (lol) but sitting on the sidelines was much worse.

Hope hearing good news this week, I saw one november filler having his approval !!!!
