So here the come. Should see september filers picking up the next couple weeks it seems. I'm September 26, so hopefully I'll have my NOA2 by mid-April which would be great. Give it a month or month and a half to get the visa in hand and we're golden.

Congrats to those that got their approval. Wow I see someone with an October 03 date got approve wow. That's great but if I was a July or August filer who hasn't gotten an approval I would be beyond pissed. I hope to see more and more September filer get their approval. and Webeem I can't believe you are still waiting I thought for sure you would have gotten your approval by now. As for me I am now in full planning mode. I a bit more encouraged seeing some of us getting approvals in. This has been such a long road. I am approaching six months and knowing the end is near hopefully brings me so much joy. Here's hoping that the next four weeks bring us joy and much needed happiness.

We just got approved!!! The email was sent at 9:30 tonight and the text alert was sent at 10:01pm. I thought that we would've been approved sometime in April. It's been a long long wait and I hope everyone else that's waiting knows that they will get approved soon!

9/8/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS
9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

6/4/15 - Status changed to AP (which meant that we could schedule the interview)

6/16/15 - Medical

6/17/15 - K1 APPROVED!!!!

6/30/15 - Passport and sealed envelope delivered via courier

av8or1 I have pretty much the exact same dates as you. I got the notifications on 9/11/14, but the NOA1 hard copy it's dated 9/10/14.

To think of it, I don't know what my NOA1 date is anymore. Before the website changed, the most recent update was an ARN change on 9/12/14, but now all I see is "My Case Was Received" on 9/8/14.

Should I be worried about that?

6 months 3 days since NOA1. Very quiet. The uscis web site doesn't allow me to submit "outside processing time" request yet. What do they consider "outside processing time"?

Currently anything prior to August 2, 2014.

Processing time is whatever is listed on the USCIS processing time page found here: https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do

Well I'm officially beyond 6 months. Wow. Had no idea it'd be this long when I applied.

Same here. When we sent in our petition the average processing time was just around five months. At the time it sounded unbearable, but within a week or two of filing we saw April/May petitions being transferred to CSC and thought that would speed things up. We were so optimistic we ticked people off. Feeling a bit less chirpy at nearly 7.5 months though. You really have to experience this to believe it, don't you? The average person could be forgiven for thinking we just make this all up. It really beggars belief. Hopefully your approval comes swiftly. I've enjoyed the September group. Since we've been skipped, I might just crash your party, seeing as August filers are all chasing the NVC now :D

Which, of course, means they give themselves another 1.5 months extra (as they post processing times that late). Gotta love the ways of the government agencies.
