Good Morning all so now that i'm back from my trip I decided to set a date for my wedding and start planning it. I know this is pure insanity on my part but I can't sit around and wait there's just to much to do. I have a qiestion though which I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask it. I would like for my future mother in law to attend the wedding how can I go about it and what would be the likely hood of her getting a tourist visa?

My fiance and I just decided to take the crazy risk and pick a date at our favorite venue as well. They are so full up that it we don't book now, we won't be able to have our wedding in the time frame that works for us. We chose August 23rd. That will be over 10 months from our NOA1 date, so we are trying to be optimistic about it.

Thank you! I may be overly optimistic, but I am hoping to see our NOA2 by the end of April. I will be able to breathe a bit easier then at least.

I hear ya! I'm about 10 days before you, and I'll be happy to hear something mid April - though early April would be even better. Give me a little breathing room to get through the next steps. I'm sure I won't stop stressing until we have an interview date, because then I can really get some idea of timing lol.

We've done the same. Our NOA1 date is October 8th and we've booked the venue for August 27th. We signed a contract with the venue saying if we gave them 3 months notice (June 1st) they would let us postpone the wedding to a later date and they will simply transfer the deposit. So should we not see an NOA2 until late May (hopefully not...) and can't risk a wedding date that early then we won't lose the deposit. Did you make any arrangements like that? It may be worth doing, I found all the venues we talked to were very understanding about it. :)

Fingers crossed!

Fingers crossed to you as well! I hope it is way before late May for both of us! We made an agreement that we can transfer our deposit to any date through the end of 2015, which was amazing and super understanding of them. I have been in contact with them since the beginning of last summer, so they have been very helpful and understanding, and they know how badly I want to get married there! It is in upstate NY, so it is very scenic and beautiful! My fiance and I are so happy to finally be able to be excited about something through this crappy process!

Yes it is! We are having it in Poughkeepsie, which is where I am from. I liked Buffalo the few times that I had been there. I went to college in Oswego, so I know what winters are like up in that area. Lol

We have one more video!!!!! Wow!!! Keep the videos coming. I am soooo excited. Here is the overall link for the channel, https://www.youtube....O6dwPf8HqZBzjUA. Please remember to send the overall link to the channel everywhere.

Here is the new link for our newest video and it is such a sad story. You can hear you little boys playing in the background. She is so brave and I know things must be so hard for her. Please, everyone, tell America to give her and her children their father and her husband!!!!

A Buffalo wedding in September? Me too! I'm Buffalo born and raised. Lived in Korea and Poland the last five years though. Hoping to have a September wedding at the Polish Villa in South Buffalo. Maybe the ceremony outdoors at canalside or Delaware park rose garden. Let's go Buffalo!
