Just got a call fro Representative Sarbanes office (maryland). They are being really helpful. Seriously.

Anyways, he said he talked to all the service centers, the baltimore field office, etc. They are all telling him that all applications are being processed within 5 months. They also claim that CSC and TSC processing the same time periods. We obviously know that isn't true.

He also said that USCIS told him that applications are not processed in a service center based on the state you live in and that applications are distributed to service centers based on workload. Obviously we know that also isn't true.

Anyways, he said he couldn't do anymore digging unless I give him a privacy release form, so he is going to be sending that to me so he can do some real research on what the delays are. Hopefully we get some information out of it.

From USCIS? Sure. The difference is that this is my 4th communication with them and they are actually working and taking steps to figure it out.

What happened to Mr No Negativity?

Yeah well we appreciate their work, but it's the same thing that all of the other reps have been telling us, nothing new.

Don't start pfredericksen, this wasn't directed at you or the folk trying to assist. Your 4th communication? What happened to Mr. Let's-Not-Compare-Efforts?

Glad to hear that they are trying to be helpful. Both of my Senator's offices are helping me right now on my case and calling USCIS on my behalf. I've also been talking to them about the differing processing times. Based on what one of the caseworkers told me, I think there is going to be an immigration caseworker training session for the Senate in April in DC. Am going to catch some time with that caseworker to explain more about what we know from VJ on the differences. Hoping it sparks more convos between the immigration case workers at least, although I don't think it'll be that effective. We shall see.

We're going to officially postpone our wedding this weekend and I'm really sad about it. We had picked a date in May because the majority of his family would be in the US for something else. We were so naive when we started this process and totally believed the government on the 5 month timeline. His family won't be able to make a second trip to the US this year and won't be there for our wedding now. I regret not applying for our visa earlier.

You really need to relax.

I'm not the one who thinks everything is about him and who is hyper-defensive about it all. And unreasonably confrontational.

So no, it is you who needs to relax. And I caught the "you're an angry person" business before you edited your post. Sheesh, can't you take your own advice and just "let it go"?

Let's stop this #### ####### pfredericksen. I don't want to endlessly go back and forth with you and your BS, though I'm sure it is providing entertainment to those who are reading the thread. LOL

So quit and let's just agree to disagree about whatever, I dunno, whichever and everything in-between. I suspect you won't be able to do that, but I'm at least trying to stand up and make peace. No doubt you'll come back with something that essentially places the blame on me. You're likely one of those folk who thinks they never do anything wrong....but who knows if that's true and who cares. Let's just put an end to it.

Complete disgust and I feel totally on point with the questions in regards to not only do the DACA and DAPA applicants get the opportunity to bypass the legal immigration system but they get special treatment by not being required to attend interviews.

Im sitting at work listening to this on a headset and busted out laughing and disrupted the whole office when they tried to explain away the lack of interview.
