The fact that they didn't even make it out of June despite a full month change in the effective date is what surprised me. For a little while anyway. That wore of pretty quickly however, given their general MO of continually falling behind.

I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad and if I wasn't as angry as I am over the matter. Lol

Sigh.

It would be nice if they would invest more time and funds into hiring and training more agents to deal with the present work load. An improved website is a wonderful ideat, but there is nothing to see there. Well, at least nothing of any significance to any of us. An upgraded website without any useful content is useless to us.

193 days. Nothing.

I agree 100 percent.

why even care anymore

Yeah I understand your point and in a way that would be a method with which one could cope with the situation. That said, I have to agree with Ethline, it would be impossible for me to not care about where the petition is or what is happening because Elena and I have our son involved. I realize that it was our choice to attempt the process of having children prior to filing the documents and as such the USCIS probably chuckles and says "that's your fault; that's on you." However we're older and weren't sure if Elena could still even have children at all, so we decided to plow ahead anyway and deal with what comes later. Once the first sonogram indicated that she was pregnant, I was a madman WRT putting together the I-129F packet and shipping it off...

Anyway, I'm just rambling. So far I have successfully blocked out the thought of leaving them behind in Russia because the #@$*@#%@$*@$#### TSC and USCIS is so apathetic to our situation and to the I-129F as a whole. I only hope that the blocking thing, whatever it is, continues to work for a little while longer. I think what does it for me is remembering our military families. As I've mentioned in a previous post, they do this kinda thing routinely, so I guess I shouldn't complain too much. I mean hell, at least I'm not getting shot at on the other end of the wait. LOL

And having said that, it's not the wait that bothers me most of the time. It's the MOTHER LOVIN' processing time difference between the CSC and TSC WRT the I-129F! In my letter I wrote that if the process requires several months to complete, then so be it, but the amount of time between SCs should be equal! I even added that we understand that it can never be precisely equal (down to the day for example), but that a modest differential would be understandable, say a month or so. What we take issue with is that the differential has been allowed to become excessive and as the divergence has continued to progress over the past few months, no corrective action has been taken to remedy the problem. It is this unfairness aspect of the situation that has motivated me to push and push and push and push some more.

Ok I'm gonna stop. Hell my letter was 11 pages. Don't wanna write that again here! LOL

I actually wasn't expecting TSC to move a full month ahead. The last 2 updates they did move a month forward, but those were April and May petitions which as we all know were mostly transferred to CSC. They had a much smaller pool of petitions to approve. I was fully expecting TSC to not be able to move through a month's worth of petitions for this update bc they would have actually had to do a true month's worth.

And like av8or said, it's not the wait it's the unfairness that bothers me. Daniel and I chose to be together long distance for 6 1/2 years before filing. A few extra isn't gonna be the end of the world compared to the time we've already spent. But the difference in time does get my blood boiling bc it just ain't right yall.

I actually I didn't even think they were going to change it from the June 06 date so I guess they surprised me.

True. It surprised me too for moving 3 weeks: I thought they would have a super-long Christmas/New Year holiday season :luv:

I'd post it in the main immigration forum but I'll be blocked as spam. (On a side note my super awesome pool guy said that it took him 4 years to get his wife and her family here. This is 100% opinion, but here's what I think is causing that:

It seems that TSC has long had issues keeping pace with their incoming petitions. They have been running long processing times for a while. I'm willing to bet that all those unapproved petitions are really just people who haven't logged into vj for several months. They got tired of waiting and moved on from vj because there wasn't anything to report or questions to ask bc they were just stuck in limbo waiting. I just clicked on about a dozen profiles from May 2014 or earlier and the profiles I saw back that up. Those people haven't logged in since they filed.

For TSC, about 75% approval rating seems to be the indicator that TSC is through with the month. At CSC it's higher, closer to 85-90%. I think this is because CSC people are approved much quicker so they're still around vj while they wait (for that week or even month before they're approved). They stay active so they keep up with their timelines.

TSC people give up on vj during their 5, 6, or 7 month wait and just never come back. That's my 2 cents, fwiw.

Oh, and the CSV filers who post on Igors list that they are TSC and transferred and show a 2 week turn around from NOA1 to NOA2 is just rubbing it in and ###ising me off.

Yup, welcome to the club. This morning I accidentally clicked on a link and saw a post from a January CSC filer who was complaining about not understanding the I-134; seemed to be feeling the pressure because the interview was coming up soon. Poor thing. Not much sympathy here, 'must say. LOL

Yeah, zero sympathy for CSC'RS. What do they need sympathy for? Can they sympathize with us, with their interviews and POES coming up and passing us by? Nope. Theyre busy starting their lives with their loved ones in 4 months from filing! It's two different worlds.

If your number starts with SRC you're at the TSC and that's where you will serve your entire sentence.USCIS isn't fair.
