Made it back to Austin, no problem. Very good to meet with all of you today. I hope to see you again soon!

9/8/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS
9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

6/4/15 - Status changed to AP (which meant that we could schedule the interview)

6/16/15 - Medical

6/17/15 - K1 APPROVED!!!!

6/30/15 - Passport and sealed envelope delivered via courier

6/8/16 - Biometrics appointment

6/22/16 - RFIE issued

6/27/16 - RFIE received

7/14/16 - RFIE response sent back

7/26/16 - "Soft update" on I-765 and I-131 (case received, prior to that case numbers were invalid ), RFIE response received (change of case status)
8/8/16 - Service Request for I-765 submitted, not assigned

8/13/16 - I-765 and I-131 approved!

8/22/16 - Combo card received

9/26/16 - I-485 approved

10/5/16 - Green Card received

Apparently so. I haven't looked, but there were posts elsewhere today reporting the same thing. Better they do it on the weekend than during the week.

Kind of jealous of all you Texas people getting together. I feel so alone sometimes in this process, it would be so nice to talk face to face with with people who understand how painful this process is! Also kind of jealous of all my friends who get to have their significant other with them in person next weekend on Valentine's day...

I've talked with both of my Senator's offices and their caseworkers and it's kind of hopeless. The caseworkers have been candid with me that USCIS won't budge at all, even if the Senator called directly. I know everyone is feeling frustrated and getting the same answers. Hopefully shedding light on the completely unfair processing time difference between TSC and CSC does some good though.

Yes, it was good to meet and hang out for a while. You would have been welcome of course, had you been in the area. We plan to do it again soon.

Yes the reps thing has been done to death it seems. The USCIS isn't listening to that anymore. FYI for you and anyone else who might be interested: tonight I completed the first draft of a packet that illustrates the processing time difference a little more clearly. This is a bit of a side project with Kristin, Stef and April. They'll review it and I plan to send it out by mid-week hopefully. Stef plans to work a couple on contacts with it. For what good it'll do. We'll see. FWIW

CSC is sitting with empty desks. They are probably so bored they are beating each other over the head with baseball bats, fighting over the new petitions as they arrive. The credit for the best thing done on Visa Journey since we joined was whoever started creating dedicated TSC filer threads. I cope better not knowing about CSC processing times by being able to avoid them for the most part.

Couldn't agree more. Am I the only one who feels like they've gone through all the stages of grief during this process? Denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance. I think I'm moving into the acceptance phase.

The phases come in waves. You are not the only one who has felt like that. It's a bit of a rollercoaster. There are good days where you accept it and then there are some in between where the world starts crumbling around you. No warning for either. They just appear and hit you like a ton of bricks.

I am also exhausted over this loooong process... what keeps me going is that if we don't get our Noa2 before february 23rd I will go to houston to see my love using my tourist visa :wub: I work at an airline and the tickets will be cheap :D let's hope and pray for the best
