Could have requested an expedite of some sort and were approved for it - extreme financial hard ship, medical issues, that sort of thing.

Or they were crazy lucky.

They stated in the thread that no expedition had been requested, and they randomly just got an email. Seems weird that a late september filler was approved in 120 days when there's still so many people waiting. Random August approvals I can understand, but late late September? Fishy.

I definitely know what you mean! Just shows how USCIS clearly has no interest in serving on a first come first served basis. Batches and random approvals seems to be the way they operate.

Me too. And you all know what I look like so you should be able to find me lol

Good call April...attached is a picture of Elena and I at a car show (indoor!) over the holidays. I'm kinda embarrassed to post it because I'm overweight after my trip to Russia. lol Not to mention that I'm staring down and to the right while attempting to align the phone with our shining faces. Heck, I brought my running gear to Moscow but it snowed most everyday and thus the footing was horrible. Personally I don't push the envelope WRT injuring myself when in a foreign country, so I decided to forego running while there. Wished I could say the same about eating, but not so. Elena stuffed so much delicious food down my pie hole that it was unreal. Holiday food in holiday quantities dontchaknow. :D :D :D

Anyway, looking forward to meeting everyone!

Ok, I'm officially hacked off! I just received an email from congressman Carter's office. The reply from the USCIS HQ was that all service centers are processing I-129F petitions in 5 months. That's right, ALL service centers are "reporting" 5 month processing times.

I'll post the official letter later on today or tonight, but right now I'm just too pissed to mess with it. Gonna eat some BBQ and drink some sweet tea, maybe that'll help. Lol
