Yup :( it's even more hard for me because TSC is playing with my fiancé and I university time. We had to apply to universities in Germany and Texas. If stuff doesn't work out before August im going to have no choice but to cancle my k-1 and my fiancé and I are just going to move to germany where I'll marry him and we'll apply for the cr-1 visa somewhere later down the line.

I'm literally in a time crunch, my sanity has less to do with being with him and more to do with #######. I need to settle in somewhere before university starts..

Hi all, since everyone is active here tonight, I just lost it and sent this to USCIS :) I feel better.

USCIS,

Please respond to the following:

You are staffing for the new workload from DACA. What about all the applications currently at TSC, stuck, months over the normal processing times. Ignored. What about our applications? I’m glad that you will be " working to process applications as expeditiously as possible while maintaining program integrity and customer service.”

What about your “integrity and customer service” with the other hundreds of thousands of applications?

You’re adjusting your staffing to "sufficiently address this new workload.” What about the workload that you ALREADY have? What about us? Why wasn’t the workload adjusted for our applications?

And….you answer to question 6 is stunning. Do you even see the question? You wrote it. Will other petitions be delayed? Oh, let’s not answer THAT QUESTION. Go ahead and respond with,
USCIS is working hard to build capacity and increase staffing to begin accepting requests and applications for the initiatives.

SO THANK YOU. THANK YOU. YOU ARE INCREASING STAFFING FOR, OHHHHHHHHHH THE INITIATIVES. THE INITIATIVES. NOT THE CURRENT PETITIONS.

YES. I’M WRITING IN BOLD. I’M YELLING.

WHAT ARE YOU DOING FOR US?

#helpTSC

Question and answers from: http://www.uscis.gov/immigrationaction#daca

Q4: How long will applicants have to wait for a decision on their application?

A4: The timeframe for completing this new pending workload depends on a variety of factors. USCIS will be working to process applications as expeditiously as possible while maintaining program integrity and customer service. Our aim is to complete all applications received by the end of next year before the end of 2016, consistent with our target processing time of completing review of applications within approximately one year of receipt. In addition, USCIS will provide each applicant with notification of receipt of their application within 60 days of receiving it.

Q5: Will USCIS need to expand its workforce and/or seek appropriated funds to implement these new initiatives?

A5: USCIS will need to adjust its staffing to sufficiently address this new workload. Any hiring will be funded through application fees rather than appropriated funds.

Q6: Will the processing of other applications and petitions (such as family-based petitions and green card applications) be delayed?

A6: USCIS is working hard to build capacity and increase staffing to begin accepting requests and applications for the initiatives. We will monitor resources and capacity very closely, and we will keep the public and all of our stakeholders informed as this process develops over the course of the coming months.

Kristin, I know some might consider this PIC on this board, but what the federal government is doing now is driving my fiancé and I crazy.

I had to pay $340 for an initial petition.

We had to complete a lengthy petition form.

Finally, when we're LUCKY, we get to pay hundreds of more dollars for her extensive medical exam.

Then we get to pay again for her visa.

I must submit extensive amounts of my personal financial information to prove I can support her.

Eventually she'll be interviewed, then she must "prove" we have a real relationship and we will FOLLOW THE IMMIGRATION LAWS UPON HER ARRIVAL.

Then there's the wait, wait, and wait for everything to move.

But on the other hand, 6 million people who came here illegally (40% are visa overstays, btw) will soon get federal work authorization cards and legal Social Security cards and access to Medicare.

And in the meantime all of us trying to do things the right way are told to wait, wait, and wait.

It is maddening. Literally insane.

Well there goes my joy so today I decided I would call USCIS via the pone only because after the feedback I got yesterday. Once the person answered and asked how she can help me I asked for a Tier 2 officer. To my surprise she didn't give me a hard time only asking why did I want to be transferred once I told her I wanted additional information she transferred me. After holding on the line for about 45 minutes the tier 2 officer came on the line and stated to me that no one has been assigned my case and it will be probably another 5 months before approval. I said what do you mean 5 months she said yes because the are so behind that's how long it may take but I can try calling again in 3. What in the heck is going on I am being put on an emotional rollercoaster with no end in sight. This is being yond crazy.
