I don't know what to believe she said 30 days I feel like that's a bold statement to make being Texas is currently taking 7 to 8 months to process. I was just a my local office yesterday and they said file hadn't been touched as of yet so what I will do is give it about two weeks and go to local office and see if it is indeed with an officer.

I think the 7-8 month process estimate is likely a very conservative estimate that they are throwing out. That gives them the leeway to go that long. If the congresswoman had pushed it through, you'd think it'd be immediately picked up. Not "in the next 30 days."

That is nice you are able to do that. I literally do not have time. I go to work everyday and I've tried calling but can never get through and it normally takes an hour. by the time I am off everything is closed.

Yeah I don't have the patience for the phone It took me 35 minutes to see someone at the office. I work from home so I am able to do that.

To be clear she called and said to me that my file has been assigned an officer and that it can take up to 30.

It's still better than your case is within normal processing time and we can't do anything that a lot of people are getting from USCIS.

I seriously doubt trying to annoy them into doing your application quicker is going to work.

I'm not sure success on that application really proves anything though. They don't make exceptions for pregnancy, you really think harassing them is going to cause any pity? I suspect the 30 days is just what is expected normally for the application. It's been shown that unless the application has been delayed past what is expected, congressmen and senators are powerless.

As much as I want to believe harassing would work, I don't buy it.

True.. I'm just so fed up with TSC because it's almost February which is nearing all of our 5 month mark and they're processing time is 7-8 months. I guess compared to the future applicants of TSC that's good, but imagine in the next 3-4 months how long all of those applicants are going to have to wait, a year? no, but there are a few people in the thread that are. USCIS is pretty clear that pregnancy is not a valid reason for an expedite.

All I know I saw an August filer from Miami get approve last week after contacting his congress person so let's see what happens. I've seen it work for some and not for others it the Jury is out on that. I think some people at the congressional may simply just have contacts that they can call.

Mine requested a transfer to CSC on my behalf and nothing has happened. I suspect TSC is fairly close if not starting into August. We'll see I guess. Only a very small percentage of applicants are on VJ, so it's hard to get an idea of where they are. The documented review dates for TSC and CSC aren't even correct. That's good I guess.
