They still seem to be processing files in June :/ Definitely aiming to see an approval in March  I was just looking in last years September filers and they were already setting up interview dates by this time of year.

Because of the holidays things pretty much grind to a halt in December. Things will pick up in January. There is hope for February approvals (very slim hope).

Honestly looking at tge trends September won't be touch till March and for those like me that filed late September April is more like it. They started processing June in Mid November here we are at the end of the month and those around the 22 of June are still waiting. Haven't seen any June approval at all this week so far.

This is frustrating on so many levels. A more obscure example: I came home tonight after a long day of work to find my mailbox full of stuff. Had to pry some of it out. I got halfway-halfway excited that perhaps I might have a response letter from one of the three federal representatives to whom I wrote letters complaining of the processing time difference. While not anything from the USCIS, it would at least be something, right? Eh-eh. Nothing. Just a bunch of junk mail and please-apply-for-our-credit-card type of stuff. Cr@p.

I've heard rumor that TSC is supposed to pick up the pace after the first of the year, but I dunno. I'll believe it when I see it. Still hoping for another bulk transfer of I-129Fs to CSC, to include mine. lol

I decided to visit Elena for the holidays. I will return on the 13th and will come through IAH, so if you (and any other local VJers) might be interested in a late afternoon lunch/early dinner type of thing that day, let me know. While there, I plan on visiting the embassy (Moscow) to check on its specific procedures for filing a CRBA, just in case it comes to that. Each embassy varies just a bit from what I understand, so you might want to investigate on your end (Mexico) too, if you haven't already. And Russia has special requirements that must be met if we do end up having our son born over there. The good news is that Elena's doctor told her that she's doing well and that our little guy is doing well so unless there are any unexpected developments, she could fly up until around week 32 or so. That extends our cutoff until the end of February or very early March. If the TSC does indeed pick up the pace after the first of the year, who knows, maybe we could fit everything in by that point. We both would MUCH prefer that our son is born in TEXAS. Eh, time will tell. Openly, I am not holding out much hope for that, but it's good to have a goal I suppose. lol

Anyway.

I am wishing you good vibes on your trip, it must be freezing over there. I am grateful that I am able to see my girl for a week starting tomorrow. It'll be awesome seeing her transformation as you had mentioned and a bit somber (for the reasons you mentioned) as well. Have you told anyone at your job about your situation or Elena's? I let mine know that I am in the midst of a visa journey; however I have yet to tell them about the pregnancy. I think I'll let them know when I get back though, so that it is not a surprise when I need to by out of the office for a couple of weeks when the baby is born.

Thanks, hope you have a good trip down South too. Yes, I have told my manager and a couple of co-workers about the developing situation. All are very supportive. I have not gone into any great detail other than to say that I may need a fair amount of paternity leave, depending on where our son is born. As a worse-case scenario, if our son has to be born in Moscow because the TSC still hasn't approved the petition or it was approved too late for Elena to fly to TEXAS, then I plan on coming here, staying for a while and hopefully we can fit in Elena's medical and interview during that time. Then she gets the actual visa in her passport sometime after that and we come back together. Failing that I'll have to return to work and leave her and our son behind until TSC gets its act together and we can get through the medical and interview process. That is the absolute worse-case scenario and I am praying everyday that the TSC won't put us in that situation. It would be monumentally difficult to leave without my new family. Time will tell. Hopefully fortune and luck will be on our side, as well as everyone else's who has their I-129F in the TSC.

I'd recommend giving your manager a heads-up regarding the pending pregnancy, absolutely. I know my manager appreciated it, for planning purposes if nothing else. Let me know what happens.

And also about a late lunch/early dinner on the 13th. Any other VJers in the Houston area are welcome too. April if you have time, let us know!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas! I wish all of you a happy new year!

We are new to the group. We received our NOA1 September 18 and we are in the TSC mess along with all of you. A very frustrating situation.

I used Igor's very helpful listings and ran the numbers. Here is a summary as of today.

As you can see April and May look to be almost done although there are a few stragglers and it looks like they are processing midway through or a little later in June right now.

Thanks for starting this group. It really helps to see others sharing some their frustrations and worries and to know that we are not alone in this journey.

Congratulations to all those members who have been able to continue their journey. Best of luck to you.
