9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received
9/15/14 - NOA1 Official notice date
9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

Plz help.

What does this mean? I though NVC will send out our paper to the embassy, then notify my fiancé the petitioner while I wait for the embassy to send me the packet. But rather I think the embassy emailed the letter below to my fiancé who then forwarded it to me. I didn't get any emails from the embassy. Is this normal?

This was emailed to my fiancé.

On Thursday, June 25, 2015, "Lagos, IVscheduling" <LagosIVscheduling@state.gov> wrote:

Dear Ms. Good,

The U.S. Consulate General in Lagos is ready to begin final processing of your approved K1 visa petition. Kindly request your fiancé/fiancée (the applicant) to visit any branch of Guaranty Trust Bank PLC in Nigeria to pay the K1 visa processing fee of $265; and after that, follow the instructions for fiancé/fiancée visa applicants attached to this email.

As required by law, we have also attached a copy of the USCIS pamphlet "Information on the Legal Rights Available to Immigrant Victims of Domestic Violence in the United States and Facts about Immigrating on a Marriage-Based Visa." The pamphlet is sent to all applicants in this visa category.

Please note that no applicant will be allowed into the Consulate Visa Hall without the confirmation (Barcode) page of Form DS-160 completed online and a valid medical examination report.

If you or your fiancée encounters any problems accessing or using the online appointment system (http://www.ustraveldocs.com), please contact: support-nigeria@ustraveldocs.com or +234-9-460-1748 +234-9-460-1748 for assistance.

This email is UNCLASSIFIED.

Yep, this is normal. I am the foreign fiancé and my USC fiancé got the email from Stockholm embassy and forwarded it to me. It means they have received your case and are ready to schedule the interview once the fee has been paid.
