Hi guys, sorry I haven't been more present. I flew in on Sunday and I didn't really wanted to think about USCIS.

Still nothing for us either, we're also past the inquiry response time (also nothing, not that I'm surprised). So Rich and I will call this morning. I'll try my best not to be an ###, but I want my answers.

I'm glad to see people moving forward in their process :)

Congrats on Elena's approval Jerry! When are you three heading to the States? :)

I did my waiting! 9 months of it.. IN TSC!

NOA2 or the story of the Holy Graal.

Thank you Mewbear, I appreciate that. No word on when we will return because we are DIRECTLY affected by the State Department's BS-how-in-the-f@cking-hell-could-you-let-this-happen-BS-BS-BS! As if everything else hasn't been enough, now we are in an indefinite holding pattern - YET AGAIN - due to the government's incompetence. How mean HOW COULD YOU DESIGN A CENTRALIZED COMPUTING SYSTEM WITH NO TANGIBLE FAILURE CONTINGENCY PLAN TO ENSURE CONSTANT UPTIME WHEN YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ISSUING VISAS TO EVERYONE ON THE FRIGGIN PLANET?!?!?! Ah, don't get me started. It would have been 3 - 5 days the CO told us, but now it will be much longer.

But anyway, that pales by comparison to what you, patiandjoe, johneo and others are STILL experiencing. I pray for y'all each day and hope that you will receive your approvals ASAP. How many days are y'all sitting at right now anyway?

9/8/14 - I129F petition sent to the USCIS lockbox via USPS
9/11/14 - Petition received @ USCIS lockbox
9/11/14 - NOA1 Email and text message received

9/18/14 - NOA1 hard copy received
12/9/14 - "Updated" likely because of website repairs, like many of us received
4/20/15 - NOA2 text and email (221 days)

4/29/15 - Sent to the NVC (9 days)

5/8/15 - Arrived at the NVC (9 days)

5/13/15 - Left the NVC (5 days)

5/15/15 - Electronic version arrived at the embassy (2 days)

5/20/15 - Paper copy arrived at the embassy (7 days)

We are at 9 months now. My daughter has yet to see her paternal family in the US.

My daughter and I are american. You would think that someone would understand when kids are involved.

Oh I agree completely. But they don't give a cr@p. For example, Elena had her K1 visa interview on Wednesday. The CO asked her when we saw each other last. She responded that we'd just seen each other that morning and that I was babysitting our not-quite-2-month-old son while she attended the interview. She then attempted to show him some pictures of the three of us together, pictures that were intended to be evidence of our on-going relationship. He glanced at one picture, then gave her back the remainder without looking, saying only "good", then continued typing into the computer and asking questions.

Sigh. I'm glad that I didn't go with her because I would have inquired about the "humanitarian cases" that they are issuing visas for despite the State Departments debacle ... I'm sure he'd have just laughed and/or dismissed my inquiry with little more than a wave of the hand...

Good luck with your situation johneo, keep us updated. Much support for you from this end.

279 days and couting.

I don't even have the right words to describe how I am feeling about all of this. Became all kinds of depressed and I'm isolating myself from people as much as I can just because I am tired of describing why this process is taking so long.

One stamp to rule them all.

Totally ridiculous for some of you September filers not to get your NOA2's yet. I filed in March of this year. I'll be lucky to be approved by 2027. Seriously though, good luck guys I hope you hear something soon. I'll pulling for you.

I don't get it. We haven't received the slightest notion of an answer or just something saying "we are reviewing this particular paper" or anything.

We've tried numerous times any and every thing: calling, expediting, legal, house of rep, you name it.

No dice.

How do they expect us to give financial support if by the time we come up for case review we have probably lost our jobs because of all of this BS.

Greetings to all,

We could not get through on phone with NVC and nothing from them yet after 30 days USCIS gave us to hold on for them (NVC), its 42 days today since May 11th USCIS sent our K1 approval to NVC.

Plz is it the same experience with anyone here?

Is it the petitioner or the beneficiary who gets the info from NVC? because we both check our mails/e-mail

What is the implication of calling the embassy to ask if they received our papers from NVC?

Thank you

NVC are supposed to send the petitioner a letter once it's been forwarded to the embassy, but they rarely do. Both the beneficiary and petitioner can call the NVC to get information. I'd say keep trying on the phone or wait for instructions from the embassy.

I feel so bitter seeing some of you still waiting for NOA2...it's really sad reading the threads in chronological order and seeing the highs and lows you go through ...moments of hope thinking approval must be round the corner and weeks later, you are still waiting.

It's unconscionable how they process these so randomly.

You all deserve an end to this suffering- I truly hope it comes NOW.
