My fiance is back home for a couple of days. He's about to call USCIS any minute now to find out what's going on since they told him to call back on 12th but he couldn't do it.

I'm considering putting an expedite due to "USCIS error", because I find this long over due an error indeed.

Alright, so the big news are that our case hasn't been assigned or opened yet.

The lady on the phone told my fiance to send an email to tsc.ncscfollowup@dhs.gov and explain everything in the mail, putting all the important dates as well as dates of notifications and phonecalls.

Response should take another beautiful 21 days which will leave us at almost 10 months in TSC.

MUCA, are you sure you have been calling the correct number? Have the US citizen give this number a try: 603-334-0700

It can take a very long time and many tries to get through into a queue. Try either in the early morning or the evening and keep redialing. They are open 7am-12am EST. I managed to get in around 6:57am and put on hold, had a 20 minute wait or so. Typically there is no answering machine. You either get into a holding queue, are told there are no available reps available and to call back later, or are told they are closed. Once a rep is there, give them the USCIS number, and they will most likely transfer you into another queue, where you'll give some verifying info, and you should be able to find out something.

We sent an email (as instructed by the consultant) on Monday with a very particular and detailed timeline of our case. Need to wait. They have 21 days to respond. I don't think they will though.

We are still waiting...

I did the expedite thing on Friday, it got rejected despite some pretty good reasons.

We had the House of Rep. send a letter and got back a response that it's pending.

I sent a request for information back in the beginning of May, it was set to "no response".

I just filled out the request again since the latest USCIS page now shows October cases as being resolved.

Ah, and we sent the email like patiandjoe also about a week back with no real response.

I've called and spoken to tier 2 also, they weren't helpful.

Basically, no response again and again.

I did find a place to complain about USCIS though and will be writing one soon because in July my daugher will be one year old and still hasn't seen one member of her paternal family.

Oh wow! So sorry to hear about this. It really stinks when such delays occur with no explanation or recourse, let alone when children are involved! My empathy and prayers for you!
