Hi, so Rich and I decided that I'd come over for 3 or 4 weeks. Since USCIS is so twisted, I assume we will get our NOA2 right before I fly. Has any of you flew to the U.S. with your NOA2 in hand? And if so did they give you any trouble at the border? I read it's only when you have an interview date that they are reluctant to let you in, but I don't want anymore set back.

I did my waiting! 9 months of it.. IN TSC!

I did not, as we are still waiting, but I distinctly remember conversations in the "Yes you can visit" thread of people successfully travelling to the US post NOA2.

I never did figure the search function on VJ out to the point of being able to find stuff, but one of the people i rememeber talking about it was Pheebs1201 (US/UK couple, also K1)

Have a good visit!

Thank you so much! I haven't mastered the search engine either, so I appreciate the help! :)

We were not going to visit until I had my visa in hand, but after multiple meltdowns I gave in. My aunt is making it our wedding present, and I don't think I'll ever be able to show her how grateful we are.

Talking with Rich about seeing each other in two weeks was just amazing. Feels like I got some life back in me. I'll be going for 4 weeks, and hopefully by the time I fly back to France we will know a bit more about our situation.

Welcome!

I am crossing my fingers for you!

Visiting just helps so much .-)

I just had to take my fiance back to the aiport today after a weeks visit, and even though we loath airport goodbyes we feel so much better now.

Lucky you for getting to stay so long and having a generous aunt! Generous aunts are awesome! My aunt sponsored my most recent visit as well :-D

Have fun looking for a good flight and safe travels :-)

Hi All!

I am so happy for all who were approved, and sending my best wishes to everyone waiting.

We received our NOA2 on the 27th - after 258 days.

It took three days for it to sink in, and happened just in time as my Fiance is headed back to Ireland on Sunday. Hopefully it won't be long till he's back for good!

Nothing for us either, hitting the 260 tomorrow.. Do we get a cake or something after so long?

After 256 days waiting... and nothing today....

I hear ya, had the same conversation with Rich over and over again. 27 and 24, countless proofs of the bona fide of the relationship, no fraud country, he is military so it's super easy to verify all his informations, both never had problems with the law, not even a parking ticket.

The approval would be quick, if they were just to actually OPEN our damn files. Ridiculous. Thinking of you guys.

God guys, this torture is really not fair on you. I mean 260days! I take it no one has bothered with your service request either?

I am wondering if TSC was affected by the floods or if there online system is screwed up again.
