Just got a reply from congressman's assistant. They promised to check and get back to me. They are aware of the mess that TSC is, but can't seem to be able to do a whole lot.

It's unfortunate when federal agency isn't responsible even to those presumably in charge of it. It turned into a beast that feeds on PDF forms and human souls.

They are accountable to nobody. They are funded by fees and therefore won't answer to congress. They won't answer to the customer because they are a government agency, but aren't accountable to the government because they are not funded by it for the processing of these petitions. The result is that they are, for the most part, untouchable. Petitions, sadly, languishing for inexcusable periods of time in a black hole would appear to be untouchable too.

Idk about you guys, but if they needed more than $340 to work faster I would have actually considered paying it..

Sheesh! Are you kidding? Increased fees is kinda old news. It was one of my suggestions/recommendations to improve the I-129F process in my letter to the President (that the USCIS HQ ultimately saw too). It was relayed to me (how accurate this is I cannot tell you) that they aren't interested in the possibility of increased fees in exchange for faster processing times because they want to focus on other petitions that far exceed the I-129F in number; meaning that my suggestion of increased fees to support the hiring of new adjudicators and other staff to support the processing of fiance visa petitions would be considered a waste of a new hire, in their mind anyway. Hell, if it would have meant that I could have received my NOA2 in a month like the #%!@$!@#!^%#@^!$@# CSC filers, I'd have gladly paid a couple of grand, no problem.

I think they should be paid at completion of work, based on performance (with fee appropriately reduced by a prorated amount based on the duration of handling). That'll improve service pronto.

Yes, yes and yes! We would happily have paid $1000 each (we have a K1 and K2) to expedite. The additional wait has cost us over $6000 in air fare for visits that we hadn't planned because we should have been approved according to the timelines at the time of filing.

Well, we were told our case was with an adjudicator. A month later we were still waiting and wondered if our adjudicator had died. I'd love to pretend we were concerned about a fellow human, but I was more worried about our petition.

Thank you...I will continue to pray for all Sept filers still waiting. Fyi they received my RFE on May 8th so approved 7 business days later...hopefully you will get approved soon!

I receive an RFE today. Almost 8 months after I receive the noa1. Now I have to wait for the actual letter to arrive so I could see what else they need in order to get approved. Good luck every one, this process really sucks
