6/8/16 - Biometrics appointment

6/22/16 - RFIE issued

6/27/16 - RFIE received

7/26/16 - "Soft update" on I-765 and I-131 (case received, prior to that case numbers were invalid ), RFIE response received (change of case status)
8/8/16 - Service Request for I-765 submitted, not assigned

8/13/16 - I-765 and I-131 approved!

8/22/16 - Combo card received

9/26/16 - I-485 approved

10/5/16 - Green Card received

Awww I'm so sorry to hear that! Have you tried talking to the venue and maybe changing the date? They should be able to help you!!

242 too and I'm sick of it. I planned my wedding for 8/2 and I don't know what to do now. ??

You would think planning a wedding in a years time is enough time. Supposedly TSC doesn't think so. It is beyond ridiculous.

I filed in November and we planned our wedding for the end of September this year and I feel like that wont happen.

Im sorry it may not work out for that time, hopefully you can re-book for a later date with no trouble.

We booked everything and told them our situation and they are happy to change , subject to availability of course.

We were planning for August 1, and because I don't trust the Malawi gov't to do their part of this in a timely fashion either, we decided to push it back to late September. Of course the petition got approved within 10 days of making the change official, but now we can relax instead of being panicked about if he's going to make it in time. We thought about trying to change it back (mostly just because I really loved the first date) but it was still too risky.
So I definitely feel for all of you who are working through those choices right now. My fiance was kinda upset that I decided to go ahead with the changes, but he just didn't have the perspective that I have from being on this site and recognizing how long things can take. Hang in there and just do what's going to be best for you guys. If you're okay with things being a little last second, keep that date and pray it works out. If you're like me and can't handle the added stress, find an alternate date, and set a deadline for when you'll make the change.
Best wishes to you all, and hopefully you won't even have to wait til Monday for those approvals to roll in! :)

6/09/15 Consulate Received (had to call embassy to check)
6/12/15 Packet Received
6/18/15 Packet Completed (had to call/visit embassy to schedule interview)
7/09/15 Interview Completed- APPROVED!! (after delay for US system errors, and rescheduling/postponing 3 times)

7/16/15 Visa In Hand (told to "come back tomorrow" first two times they said it would be ready)

7/18/15 POE Washington, D.C.

8/1/15 Legally Married
8/13/15 Filed for AOJ (also EAD and Travel)

8/20/15 NOA1 for all 3 filings

9/08/15 Bio Appt

9/26/15 Wedding Ceremony!

10/16/15 EAD and AP Approved

10/23/15 EAD Card Received

11/23/15 AOS Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no interview, no warning- completely unexpected, but so exciting)

Congrats! Are you still going through the Trinidad embassy? If you are and need any help along the way don't hesitate to message me! A word of advice is to request the police certificate now. There is quite a delay unfortunately. Congrats again!

I have been absent for a few days (Mother's day, etc..) and only now am I catching up to what has happened, and woooooa!

CONGRATS!! Man, you truly have been waiting long and like the others, you more than deserved it. Are you gonna stick with us as we get ours approved as well? ;)

By the way, it's been 246 days here, we sent an inquiry yesterday and should have a response by June 2nd.
