No. The approvals have been exceptionally scattered across filing dates for a couple of months now and some get 'lucky' and others don't. If I thought anyone at TSC actually had time to scout around the forums I'd be ticked off, because it's not as if they don't have enough to do.

I don't believe there is any slight connection whatsoever.

You must have missed all the action yesterday then. Someone purporting to be a TSC adjudicator was snooping around the forums commenting on a TSC thread. He claimed to be a new hire who processed other petition types. He said he was looking for fraud here. He is now gone from the site, though. We have reason to believe he may be legit.

Yeah, and seeing November and December approvals, although I'm happy they don't have to wait as long, makes me want to scream. Pick up my file and look at it!!

the way the IO in Boston asked me who I as visiting I am pretty sure he knew the answer before I gave it.

Not like the moderation allows any posts that are not sanctioned/ mostly people give correct answers and point out the law - but if he was looking for fraud, why would he say who he was?

If they were looking for fraud they wouldn't announce it. That'd defeat the whole purpose.

Regardless, it wouldn't affect your processing times by posting here unless you say something that would disqualify you from the visa.

Posting like this is highly questionable from a professional point of view...certainly a reprimandable kind of offense once caught.

Anyway, I blame lacking management oversight concerning workload distribution, lack of proper actionable targets and most certainly lack of resources and process inefficiencies. It's certainly not individual USCIS adjudicators who have it in for us - they just do their job - and there will be over- and underachievers like in every profession.

Since it is about our loved ones, it can feel personal - but it is not - at all.

Personally I believe them to be nothing more than a troll behaving in a manner which is a federal offense. What evidence is there of their legitimacy?

I confess that I oddly don't feel as impatient as last week- perhaps it's because I feel that it'll be this week (I've only checked the USCIS website 9 times yesterday, compared to the other days where that figure was much higher). I've said that for the past three weeks, but I don't know.. The fact that it's the last week of the month, I suppose.

I have never heard a case that an NOA2 took over 8 months, truly. I remember when I first started this process, it was a commonly accepted fact that the whole process (NOA1 --> receive visa) would take 7-9 months, max. I also remember that just a little over a year ago going to the US was a mere fantasy that I had to accept would never happen. Funny. I have a feeling that the NOA2 is just some ridiculously big boulder on the tip of hill, tortuously trying to go up, but when it does, it'll roll down faster than we can imagine. Hang in there guys.

Vincent, sadly it does happen. There was a Juky and an early August couple approved a little over a week ago. No RFE. No apparent reason. Both cases tool well over 9 months. Brett was just approved today after eleven months. Eleven. I can't even try to pretend to know what they most have gone through. It never used to be normal but there are many hovering dangerously close to the 8 month mark awaiting approval. I'm really hoping that it's just s system issue and a flood of approvals is about to start arriving in mail boxes for you all. It happened in January. They may still be working on the petitions and the website is not showing the updates.

Elprofe, also include in the letter of intent that you intend to marry in the USA. There is a sample letter in the guides which you can use as a style and change it up to personalize it.

Thanks, we both utilized the templates from visa journey and made tiny changes. I had already sent mine in the original package but I resent it.

I am really hopeful that this is enough, but if it is not, I am also prepared to send another package with the original letter and the envelope with the postage stamp of the DR. We will insist until we get the approval. Even if takes longer than anybody else.

That's a little obscure here. Look, a troll would say anything to appear credible you know? You mean their mentioning of that legal issue? Well, that's public information that's been out for a while now. And there's been no official source that states TSC was the direct culprit. If there's something you feel that lends to their credibility please PM me.
