Found out today my fiance has malaria. :( Makes it that much harder to be away from him.

Here's hoping I'll have some good news to cheer him up soon!

11/14/17 I-751 Package mailed (Vermont)

9/15/14 NOA1 (text)
9/16/14 Status Update: Alien Registration # Changed
5/11/15 NOA2 (8:30 pm text, 238 days since NOA1)

6/09/15 Consulate Received (had to call embassy to check)
6/12/15 Packet Received
6/18/15 Packet Completed (had to call/visit embassy to schedule interview)
7/09/15 Interview Completed- APPROVED!! (after delay for US system errors, and rescheduling/postponing 3 times)

7/16/15 Visa In Hand (told to "come back tomorrow" first two times they said it would be ready)

7/18/15 POE Washington, D.C.

8/1/15 Legally Married
8/13/15 Filed for AOJ (also EAD and Travel)

8/20/15 NOA1 for all 3 filings

9/08/15 Bio Appt

9/26/15 Wedding Ceremony!

10/16/15 EAD and AP Approved

10/23/15 EAD Card Received

11/23/15 AOS Approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (no interview, no warning- completely unexpected, but so exciting)

Yikes D: I had a form of malaria when I was in a the Caribbean, Chikungunya. I was flat for two weeks, couldn't do anything.

I'd contact the embassy directly and see what their requirements are. They are all different. The embassies are way more responsive too.

ROC/CITIZENSHIP/Passport-refer to my timeline...

Ok, not sure if I shared this with you before. So last week I spoke with a Tier 2 and he told me to call back today and he will happily have them look into my file since it's 5 months. I asked him 1000 times how that was possible because of the posted timelines and he said don't worry mam call back. So. I called this morning. Got a nice girl who stated posted timelines etc. etc. I explained what the man said and she finally backed down and said yes. She can put an inquiry into my file at TSC. (But not for outside of timelines). So the guy had told me once this happens they must respond on the status of your case and give you a time frame within 2 weeks of when it will be processed. Do i believe this? NO. But, the girl said that TSC must formally respond to me by mail by May 12. I'm sure the response will be laughable, but I still am looking at all possible angles to fight these people for everyone stuck. I will share the letter once it arrives with everyone. This isn't a great direction, but if there's any truth to what the guy told me then maybe everyone can start demanding the same thing. And she also said to call back if it's not received by that date. I'm sure it will say we are working within timeframes blah blah.....also they said that the update this month will be in the first week of May...

11/28/2014- Package Received

12/03/2014- Electronic Notification

12/09/2014- Received NOA1 in mail (Notice Date 12/02/2014)

I'm so sorry! :( I had it really bad a couple of years ago and my fiance thinks he had it already once this year. It really sucks to feel helpless when your SO is suffering. Hope he gets better soon!

Approval notifications are sent out every night after 9pm US time except weekend.

I called the USCIS today and they said they are processing with file from August 2014. Do they update their information because how come Visa Journey is talking about 50% approved september filers.

She also told me that I should wait 60 days for a response regarding RFE

I do not believe in what she was saying. I think she is new.

When they give that August 2014 date, it's a date "as of february". So it's essentially not a good date. They are definitely processing September.

From what I've read, it's a week or 2 for RFE response.

But who really knows at this point.

My gosh it's long 60 days!!!!!
