Ahh, none from CSC? I don't look at CSC igor's list because of anger issues. I just make my eyes go blurry while I click on TSC as quickly as possible so I don't accidentally see any CSC.

I have bookmarked the page that only shows TSC, so I don't get too angry by accidentally seeing CSC.

Got back from the info pass meeting. So we've been waiting 225 days, and they said that we're within the processing times (yawn). The have an id number for each individual file so he was able to track our file and it had recently been touched and as of 21/4 it has been moved into an office, so basically we went from waiting in a big stack of files to a smaller one lol.

He also used to work for the NVC and said that Texas has a LOT of problems they still need to work out. Some of their major databases do not work straight and he used to deal with a lot of their ups. And as said before, K1 visas are a clear minority in the massive amounts of petitions that they deal with and that's the reason for the recent slowdown.

I wasn't expecting much from the visit and even though I'll take his estimation with a grain of salt, it gave us both some sort of peace of mind. For now ?

Shame that there hasn't been any apparent approvals in the last 2 days, but hopefully what the other poster said is right- about the site being in maintenance. You know, I'm coming to realize that if the NOA2 takes even a little longer, I might have to forfeit my spot at the University of Florida. I need to confirm my enrollment by May 1st, but how can I do that when I don't even know when I'll be there? Heck, I could be there after the semester starts, who knows?

I hope it doesn't come to that, though. On the bright side, I do have a plan B, but ironically it's a university in Canada which, unlike in the US, has a Winter term that starts in January. No way in **** am I waiting another year to start uni..

Sorry you're faced with this problem. Have you tried talking to admissions at UF? Perhaps you can explain the situation and they will let you defer your enrollment until January if you need to?

So we've been waiting 225 days, and they said that we're within the processing times (yawn).

When 225 days is considered within normal processing time, there's a problem. If this isn't indicative of a sub standard service, I dint know what is.

And then add on the extra time tacked onto the end to wait until your NOA1 passes the processing date. This really is a poor system because if you have to wait until their update tells you they are processing after your date to put in an inquiry, it adds up to 30 more days to your time before you can take action. At least when they say "5 months" the day you are 5 months plus 1 day you can call and make an inquiry.

I joined one of those facebook groups, for about 5 mins.

I don't need to see those filing a few weeks ago already approved.

Yeah, that's why I'm not even going there. I've decided I am happy with my little September TSC filers here, where we are all on the same page and stoked to see approvals within this thread. I do not need to see CSC people getting approved after 23 days; I do not need more of a reason to flip a table.
