Ok y'all, 221 days for me. I received the notification tonight, approved. Still doesn't seem real, but I'll take it. I don't want to say much, 'cause I feel for those of you who are still waiting. I'll stick around the thread in support, naturally.

Congrats!

This makes me so happy. I feel like things are happening! I'm at 210 days now. I feel like I can relax for the next 10 knowing you got your approval at 221.

(Who am I kidding? I won't relax. Ha.)

Yet Another Update From The Congressman's Office Part 35:

Apparently my case has been assigned and should expect something "within 2 weeks".

They are still also pushing hard to get the story on why applications were going to specific service centers due to state of residence. Apparently that was *not* supposed to be happening and it's come up as a big concern with their office. Even if it's not happening today, but that it *was* happening. From his tone, it definitely sounded like they are looking for blood on that.

So yeah, there is that. No real news.

Finally I have been approved yesterday and I just found out. I did not received any email or text message. Although it has been a long wait, my frustration level is going now lol.

For those who are still waiting their second NOA , I wish you good luck ! Stay strong and don't give up. The battle continues.

Woooot! Another one, congrats!

Relatively speaking, TSC is moving a light speed now- I just hope there isn't a burnout. It'd be a shame if any of them got a paper cut, broke a nail, or got a headache and had to take a 4 month leave, right? Here's hoping to more NOA2's and to the well-being of the petition evaluators!

I think it's really awesome that some who have received their NOA2s are sticking around for support. I plan on doing that as well once I've received mine.

Perhaps we can start a September 2014 Filers (TSC) Post-NOA2 thread to go through the last bit together? I feel like I'm going to have tons of questions throughout the next process, too.

That's actually a great idea, and I'm totally up for it! It goes without saying that after the NOA2 it's relatively smooth sailing from thereon out, but it's always good to have some advice along the way.

Sweet! I'm glad you're on board :)

I am always overly thorough, so I worry about stupid little things. Like for the interview at the Montreal embassy - it says to have five passport-worthy photos. I already have two that were sent to US CIS, are those included? Or do I have to get five more? And are they five of the same? Or do they have to be different? Also, why is the sky blue? :huh2:

The one that says on the hard copy. So it should be 25th. Because they always send noa1 a few days after they receive the petition.

When filling in your timeline, please understand that all I-129F's are sent to the LOCKBOX in Texas, and then ROUTED (not transferred) to your ASSIGNED service center- the one in Texas "TSC" (not the same as the lockbox!), or the one in California "CSC". If your tracking number starts with WAC, you're at the CSC, you were not transferred! There are no transfers at this time. If your number starts with SRC you're at the TSC and that's where you will serve your entire sentence.USCIS isn't fair.

They don't care about you.

Yeah I'm also interested in seeing what develops from this fight that your rep's office is putting up in regard to the geographically based distribution model. As an engineer, I never understood that because the pitfalls of such an approach are overt and potentially disastrous; and indeed disaster did result from the implementation of such a model.

I seriously doubt they'd ever take responsibility for it, but it'll still be interesting to see what your rep's office does with it. Let us know.
