The saddest thing is the more days pass the less I wait.

We had initial plan to marry May 4th, now it makes me lol for being so naïve. August 15th (current plan) seems impossible too.

the longer it goes, the harder it is to keep the relationship. The whole point of this process is to prove you are in a legit relationship, yet they strain them.

I agree. Well, I'm not going to give up on the love of my life over some crazy paperwork.

My fiance is worth all the wait, doesn't matter how long it takes.

What is so unsettling right now at TSC is looking back at our wait, we were clearly skipped over. We waited 224 days for our approval, but the majority of those in the rest of our month waited less. Looking at September timelines, our wait time which was then some kind of oversight for whatever reason, is now the norm. That stinks. So sorry for all of you still waiting. It really sucks and there is nothing that can be said to ease the pain and frustration. All we can do is stick around and watch for your approvals when they do come so we can congratulate you.

At least the people here understand. I've started to lose my patience with people who ask me "Did you hear anything yet?" Like, don't you think if I did you would know? I'm pretty sure I'll scream loud enough for everyone to know lol.

Hopefully the average wait will start to creep back down, even if slowly. Having to wait 220+ days for someone to review a file to make sure everything is there is crazy IMO. Personally, I think the USCIS portion should take less time than the NVC/Embassy, but that is clearly not the case when you involve TSC.

On a side note, I see your packet was received- you are in the home stretch~! :dancing:

Yes, I hear you on the questions from people. As if you would be sitting looking miserable if you had heard anything and not said a word about it! By the start of this year every time someone asked, "Any news?" it was like they wanted to play roulette with their medical insurance

Packet 3 did arrive. It was strange because they enclose a copy of the approved petition with it. I sat for ages looking at it thinking how long ago it was since we submitted this document consisting of only a few pages and all that was there to show signs of human intervention was some red pen, a barcode label and a rubber stamp with the date and the word, Approved. It was quite surreal and I kept thinking, Really? This took 8 months?

I see people who sent their application and got their NOA1 after mine getting approved and it's giving me both frustration and a glimpse of hope. " We will be next.. but why are they being approved before us?..".

At that point I'll even be happy with RFE (although goodness, I can't take any set backs) but we just need to know someone opened our darned case!

My fiancé and I joked about TSC dropping a bin of files and just picking them up randomly, but now it seems more probable that they are just uncompetent.

Reading the posts about people's approvals give me just enough hope not to go crazy.. but it's seriously nervewrecking.

Only a few more weeks before your interview.. the light at the end of the tunnel! :D

I hope you get to be back with your love in no time :)

I did my waiting! 9 months of it.. IN TSC!

NOA2 or the story of the Holy Graal.
