Good evening my fellow September filers. I wanted to post this message to you guys not in any way to brag about my status and I apologize ahead of times to any who may think so but you guys have held me up and given the strength to really deal with this horrible process at TSC. About three weeks ago I really hit a low point in my relationship where I honestly didn't think could do this long distance thing anymore. Let me tell you I've spent a fortune traveling back and forth four trips to Haiti and I won't even mention the long distance phone calls and so on and so on. So after literally hitting rock bottom the morning of April 03 I woke up to find out that I had been approved. I will say it was like a light a the end of a very long and dark tunnel. Ever since my case has been moving at lighting speed I just check my case on the NVC site and has been shipped to my Embassy that's less than two weeks after approval. So if all goes well I should be interviewing in the next three weeks or so. Anyways just wanted to share my story to say stay strong and once you do get approved the next part of it really goes by so fast. Hope every one gets their approvals really soon.

Thank you for the well wishes all, I appreciate you very much. I say a prayer everyday that the approval will happen with enough time for the remainder of the process to be completed such that my fiance and our son can return home with me in June. It can still happen, depending on how much time the NVC component will consume, but I need that approval ASAP. Nothing so far tonight. Gonna give up on it in a half hour or so.

Saw two September filers, not an October filer Mewbear, but I could have missed it perhaps.

Anyone else receive theirs?

I do not know how to post the quote here as it's on another tread so I'll just post the link :)

7th post down, user simcitybuildit

My SO is in the military and got orders for this summer. He will only be gone two months, but I see my chances of seeing him before he leaves reducing as days passes. I hope you get to have your fiancée and son by your side very soon.

I did my waiting! 9 months of it.. IN TSC!

Thanks mewbear. Wish y'all and everyone else her quick approvals.

I still only see two from yesterday. More could trickle in soon, but yeah, I understand what has been said. Rather disappointing. I mean, I know that we're only a small subset and there could have been lots of approvals of non-VJ types, as well as those who just haven't updated their timelines yet, but still... doesn't give you warm fuzzies just the same. Lol

Who else is still waiting?

More than 50% as per VJ.

Of course we only represent a small fraction - say 5% (50000 petitions per year, roughly 250 tracked on VJ each month), but I don't see why the 5% would not be representative. It's a decent enough sample size and covers basically every country.

Looks like the 220d till approval average is here to stay... damn!

Well I'm sitting at 217 days today and no approval in sight, so I'd have to agree with the 220 number. Perhaps more. Unless things change in the TSC, I see that number remaining pretty much where it is. Supposedly they had a whole rash of new hires, but who knows how many will be trained to process the I-129F nor how long their training will last.

Sigh.
