Hey all.

I filed my I-129F petition at the Vermont Service Center January 2007. I got NOA 1 saying they recieved it January 17, 2007 and received NOA 2 stating approval January 25, 2007. I just got the letter from NVC saying they received the petition from VSC and will be sending to Manila Embassy within the next week. I was really surprised it was approved so fast. Good luck to all of you.

Though I am happy for all, at every successful stage of their journey. Vermont filers seem to show-of :P and rub it in our faces, that they receive NOA2's in 14 :hehe: days while we wait 90  . Once again, I am happy for all.

However all Vermont filers just keep the comments and excitement in regards to approvals more low key if possible ( come on we are all rational adults; 14 days does not compare to 90, and seriously how excited, anxious and nervous can a person really get knowing approval will come so quickly). B) It's not cute to show-off.:thumbs:

Hey, maybe you lucky Vermont people should open your own forum, you guys can show-off  and brag  about who receives the quickest approval. Mybe even takiing wages on ( who will and when will the 3 day NOA2 occur ) :P

Im a fellow January filer, and i think that everyone should be able to show there excitement no matter what service center they use, don't be salty just because yours is taking longer than others. My packet went to California as well, waiting is just apart of the process, and some will wait longer than others. noone is bragging, they are just happy and excited, as you will be too when you get your NOA2. Please give everyone the same curtesy and respect that you would want, when your day comes

Well thanks for chastising me! I hope that most people could the humor I was portrying in my comment.

Well I guess you were not one of them. If you read the comment and did not detect humor, well I apologize if you were offended. But, as I stated we are alll adults, and the rational that I would have a problem or be angry with anyone that could speed up their process to be with their SO is ofc ourse.

I was merely displaying humor in stating, that I wish I (we, other service centers could move along as expediciously as Vermont.

My comment was not meant to be anything negative and I won't allow you to label is as such.

So please don';t make judgemental comments on things you don;'t understand, instead ask how is was meant. Once again we are all adults, and my mother is not logging in the VJ.

and also before you go around being so critical, add your timeline and participate 100% in the process.

Don't just sit on the side-lines like an inocent by-stander. Because, if you are not actively participating in the entire VCJ process, my comment could not be undertood by you.

Thanks.

You were never a mistake. You were my realization.

Heehee.. Vermont, if you have noticed, the countries they are assisting just have FEW petitioners among other states.. What confusing me is that what the NCS and TSC doin if they just forward all the petition to CSC, just bumming workers? Hee.. Idle huh..

you'll see the date change.

no email just "touched."

Meaning if what was written in my status online is something like this: On January 24, 2007, we received this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E), and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow blah, blah, blah; the date you were pertaining is that Jan. 24, 2007? Thanks.

a touch will not change the date that the Service Center recieved your petition, it will change the date that says LAST UPDATED.

(fwaguy, i will never doubt you again)

If you can view the back of your check online it will tell you what service center processed it. I know it can be difficult to see. I had to print mine out before I could begin to decipher it, but sure enough there was stamp that had the word.."California".

Based on the progress of November filers, I think we January filers are now at the waiting stage with little to no activity. In about 2 months, we should start seeing more touches and NOA2s. Of course, if things go faster for any of us that would be great!

Good luck to all of us waiting and let's hope for no RFEs!

I-485 (AOS)

12/25/07: Entered US through San Francisco

01/25/08: Legal marriage ceremony

02/27/08: Filed I-485, I-131

03/06/08: NOA for I-485 and I-131

03/27/08: Biometrics appointment

04/11/08: RFE? - Had to redo biometrics because of unreadable fingerprints

04/18/08: 2nd biometrics appointment

05/08/08: Received AP in mail

06/27/08: Interview appointment received in mail

08/13/08: Interview appointment

I hear you lion_lioness! I'm feeling antsy myself. It's tough just sitting here waiting for a couple months while we're separated from our loved one. Hope things go faster than expected!
