I feel like crying so bad today! :crying::cry:

Don't cry Sarah. I warned you cause I knew it would be hard. I also warned you about checking every day and driving yourself crazy. Even with all the support from here, there, and everywhere, sometimes it is better to step back for a while and not focus on the waiting. You will survive it and you will be fine. Just hang in there.

I should try to take this advice too! My goal was to go today without checking visajourney or uscis. And it's only 11:15 and I already failed. :(

Date has changed again to 4/26 from 4/25. Work, CSC! Work!!!!

You are so lucky. I had touches Friday, Monday and tuesday and now it s thursay and NOTHING.

I not only want to cry .. I am just tired of being glued to the uscis website.. and always checking.. its getting me no where and depressed all the time. I have 14 days till I am in Algeria and 13 days till I get on the plane and start travelling and all of this makes me so sad and burned out. I thought for sure I would know something by now.. even with the waiver because everyone seems to be getting their cases worked on and approved

There are people from VSC that filed in March of 2007 and they already have their fiancees here. If that does not make you :ranting: :ranting: nothing will.

wahrania, girl, you're even depressing me now! i know you're freaked out, but it seems like you should reallllly take a break from checking the USCIS site all the time. i know that might sound like backwards advice, but you need to give yourself a break from worrying about this stuff, it isn't healthy all the time. i do my fair share of freaking out too, believe me, but i also sometimes rent a good movie or go out to eat or just do SOMETHING that isn't stewing-over-the-NOA2. as you've seen, touches mean someone is touching your file, but no more and no less than that until you hear about definite action.

TimsDaisy...I think you time is coming up... It would be nice to send a congrats.

Thanks! I hope so. I'm trying to stay calm and just be pleased that someone is doing something with our file. I'm trying not to sit around "expecting" to hear for sure today. Though I can't say I don't get jumpy everytime I get a "new email" message!

And here's hoping the rest of the Jan gang gets some action!

I got a touch!

My NOA-1 was 01/16.

still new here -- are you guys getting "touches" through the email notifications you set up on the USCIS website or are you having to go each time and check their site on-line?

thanks!

It's a change in the "last updated" field in your USCIS online account portfolio. It won't generate an email because technically it isn't an action of any kind. A touch doesn't mean you were approved or denied or are getting and RFE. It doesn't mean anything until you, uh, find out what it means.

Some people get a bunch. Some people get none at all. Some don't even get emails and just have an NOA2 show up in their snailmail box.
