I just got off the phone with a USCIS customer service rep at 800-375-5283, he gave little new information. Just that there was a large workload increase after the first of the year.

George

...sigh

Hahaha! Yeah..."workload increase" translation = new donut shop at the corner.

Can ya TELL my patience is wearing thin? No NOA2 on Mondays or Tuesdays. Must be running a special on the chocolate covered ones with sprinkles during the first part of the week.

8/5 - POE @ Dallas/Ft. Worth

LOL, do you think it's strange that there is not even ONE additional NOA2 entered in the timelines for Mon23 and Tue 24?

If they were actually by Randy's donuts itself, I might give them a pass . . . But since it's the OC, must be a new juice bar or fitness center. Plastic surgery? (how many stereotypes can we get in one thread! NO! that wasn't a challenge, please!)

What have we decided, Wed-Fri are the action days? Okay, we'll see what happens. I was expecting to at least get touched last week. But not so much as poke yet.

I did have to change my password on the egov page because the 90 days were almost up (I'm past 100 days waiting under VJ stats and over 90 under fwaguy stats).

Then I got an email that flashed up as from "CRIS" which is what USCIS emails say (at least ones I've received for registering at the site, etc). Only problem was I forgot for a moment that I had changed the password (about a 10 min lagtime between changing it and getting the confirmation email) and I allowed myself to think . . . .

I wanted to smack myself in the head when I opened the email and went "oh, right . . .barsts!"

I just got 2 emails from CRIS!!!

Got our NOA2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Finally, I'm so happy!!!

Everybody else who's still waiting, don't worry, seems like they started working at CSC now!!

The world around you gets hazy and the only thing you focus on is you and that person. And for that one moment you've been given this amazing gift and you want to laugh and you want to cry at the same time because you're so lucky you've found it and so scared that it will go away.
