Don't mean to bum anyone out but...we got touched 3-9-07 in the afternoon then got an RFE via email around 11pm that same night. We were then touched again on 3-10-07. Still no hardcopy of the RFE recieved in the post so don't know what the problem is yet. I guess the upside is that it means they are at least working on things at CSC.

So sorry, any idea what it may be?? Try calling them, maybe they can give you some insight on why the RFE was issued.

No, no idea what it might be. Good idea to call them though...I just assumed they wouldn't be able to tell me anything. I will call them in the morning! Thanks

Why did it seem like when the December people started to move it was raining NOA2s around here, but now that we're on January, we've turned into molassas? It's just because I'm a Jan filer, right? Have we had anymore?

Fwaguy - any new data to add to the charts? I need more confidence to get through the next week and a half - what should be (and I use the term "should" loosely, I know) the week that sees last January filers see some damn action!

Ok here is the deal. I would appreciate and 99% of the people here would to....well. That if you receive your NOA2, PLEASE post it here or make a new thread stating that you have you received your NOA2. It is great that fwaguy sums up the timelines for us and a big thanks to him. However he can only do that once per week. So if you received your NOA2 and post it for us, that will give everybody else hope, gives us more light at the end of the tunnel. I know most of us are getting bummed out by waiting so long, so it would be great to hear the NOA2's as they happen on a daily basis. It would lift our spirits.

Sorry for rambling and long on sentences.

C'mmmmmon CSC. Go! Get a move on!

Someone, please, good news needed!

I did a quick analysis on fwaguy's "Days in Total" column that calculates days from NOA1 until NOA2. Below is a summary table for the entries with and NOA2:

Days in Total: NOA1 to NOA2

Mnth Count Mean Median Mid 2/3rds

==================================

Dec 72 80.8 80.0 73-87 (72 Only NOA2 received)

Jan 18 78.5 78.5 76-81 (18 Only NOA2 received)

Jan 73 77.9 76.5 72-85 (73 Includes NOA2 not received)

It appears NOA2s for January filers/NOA1s are being issued at the same rate as their December peers. The small difference between the months is insignificant.

To estimate when you expect an NOA2 to be issued, add three months to your NOA1 date, subtract 10 days.

Example: Our NOA1 is dated Jan 26, three months is April 26. Subtract 10 days gives April 16th.

I'm expecting the NOA2 following my Jan 26 NOA1 early next week.

Seems WAITING FOREVER, doesn't it?

It appears the two week period for NOA2s resulting from NOA1s filed Jan 9 to Jan 23 are due. I did a quick timeline search, and see there are four more (total 22) approvals for January filers. Fwaguy updates his page on weekends. His work is VERY helpful :star: but regular updates are on weekends. Also, couples need to keep their timelines updated!

I'm sorry you got an RFE. I have been keeping a close eye on your case, hoping you will have an approval soon. Do you mind if I ask you what you sent in for evidence? I am fearful myself of us getting an RFE also, so would like to know if we are going to be in the danger zone!!! Just trying to plan for any problems. We are February filers, this wait is gruesome to say the least. I have calculated, calculated, and calculated some more on best/ worst/ and median case scenarios till my eyes are crossed from staring at the computer. I hope it comes soon for you. Take care, Jen

Don't forget that, from what I understand (and dear god in heaven may never have to know from personal experience), RFEs can be generated for things other than "evidence" as we use the term here. They can mean, please sign this 3d copy of the G-325A and send it back, or, this was mislabeled, or you skipped this box, etc.

I keep pestering them to know too, but I think they're more eager to know than we are!

I got touched today. Is it because I called the USCIS customer service line and that's why it shows a touch, or is it because those SOBs are finally accessing my file?????
