Hello All January Filers

I got my NOA2 today as well................Checked 9:00AM this morning, still no touch since January NOA1, came back at 10:30 and my email had three messages from USCIS..

Approval Notice Sent.....

Actually they said it was mailed yesterday, but they sent email and changed online status today.

There is light at the end of this tunnel...

Never had a single "touch" update to online account.

Good Luck all and hold in there...

Also a January filer here and got our NOA1 on Jan. 22... and still waiting for the NOA2 to come (been giving my paralegal a hard time everytime i get upset and sometimes frustrated with the waiting) :( Good thing my baby decided to join this forum so we'd have sort of a support system with all the waiting we have to do, gosh it can really get very draining -- mentally and emotionally

I can see a lot of January filers getting their approvals, is it time for me to panic? We haven't got any touches at all since we got theNOA1, and i was asking my paralegal about it and she told me that it will probably take another 4 months to get the approval. :crying: She's not bothered at all, and she doesn't seem to show any sympathy to what I am going through

I'm somewhat of a newbie here, I'm sure my opinions will be corrected. :)

My NOA1 was Jan 26, the only "touch" was a change of mailing address. I think this is a good sign, most RFEs that slow down the NOA2 come in the first two weeks or so after NOA1. Several members have recently posted that they received their NOA2 approval with no touches after NOA1.

Once your I-129f is out of a "to-do/inbox" stack on a USCIS employee's desk, an approval/rejection decision will come quickly. If your I-129f is picked up for an approval decision the first time after NOA1, you will not have a touch since NOA1. Your paralegal may be referring to final visa approval in four months. Seven months sounds about correct for final visa issuance with no complications. Your NOA2 is due this week and surely before the end of April.

RFE's can come at any time, especially after the 3 month wait if they ajudicator thinks they need more info. Anyways, its a bit early to be worrying... I mean only one person who filed on Jan 3rd has their approval yet and you are 2 weeks after that! This time next month and nothing, then start worrying :) Though that's a lot easier said than done, I know I'll be a wreck in a few weeks when it gets close to my estimated date!

MSU17,

You are correct about RFEs coming any time... My error.

Check http://fwaguy.250free.com/K-1VisaView.htm for more current information on NOA2 approvals after Jan 3 NOA1s. There is a shortcoming since fwaguy gets much of his information from the timeline pages. Many people have posted NOA2 "Approved" in this thread that do not attend to their timelines. Of course, many people that have received K-visa status from USCIS don't use visajourney.
