Man this sucks. Too bad their isn't an expedited service, I am willing to pay 20 fold of the I129F fee. CSC should really look into that, instead of raising taxes, charge a hefty expedited service fee......they would make a killing. Which VJ member wouldnt pay that expedited fee to get their loved one here faster?????

Anyhow, just a dream

You would pay $3400 to shave off a few weeks from the approval of your I129f??????

Of course one problem with CSC charging for an expedited service is that Vermont already expedites their service for no extra charge. And then a second problem would be that just because you have money and I don't you would get to skip ahead in line before me and make my wait a littlle longer. How do you think THAT would go over with the public? Remember, I pay taxes too.

But hey, its nice to dream...

There has been lull in Dec movement this week; I will show you tomorrow.

Part of this is caused by an under-estimation of Dec cases. Even in mid March there are still new Dec cases trickling into the VJ records. Whenever this happens, it sometimes manifests as a stall (or even a minor decrease) in the progress counts here.

Yeah, I noticed the lull too and I suspected that there were more December filers out there than were reported.

BTW fukarse, what's stake in all this? Are you involved with someone overseas?...

CSC December K1's - 41/56 = 73%

All K1's - 85/105 = 81% (Rounded up)

Today I saw an Approval for a 1st NOA (December 28th). It was approved March 3rd but just updated here today. Meaning it was not updated for a while. I think we should see January's starting any day now. The moment I get mine I am updating here because it is frustrating when people wait for two weeks. I know it's a courtesy that we all do this but even I have my days of frustration. :)

I don't think they now offer, nor will they offer, expedited fiance petitions. There are fees you can pay for other classes (like the I-129, mainly in the employment realm). But, for the reasons you point out here, there are a lot of concerns in using the expedited services in the family-based arena. Easier to justify for economic reasons and employment. Paying for family is distasteful precisely because it would create a class-based system of family unification and creation. Not a lot of good P.R. comes out of that, as you rightfully say. But if I missed mention of that in the proposal, then I'm wrong.
