Hello everyone. I hope you are all doing well. I haven't posted for a while. I have to say, I'm starting to feel in a bit of a slump again. We got approved on the 5th, but NVC still hasn't received our case. The whole day by day wait, check, wait is once again wearing me out. I thought it was supposed to get easier once you are approved, and things would move faster??? UGHHHH.

Isn't the government wonderful. Well for us it two weks for the NVC to recognize they had received our case. They wait at the service center until there is is a full load to ship and I have heard it then goes space available to the NVC. You should hear very soon, 2-3 weeks should not cause you to worry just become impatient. The NVC can drive you nuts but, use Jame's shortcuts, they will keep you involved and make the time go faster. In the meantine CELEBRATE your still moving forward!!

hey guys, thank you all for sticking around with us January filers without NOA2

We got touched again today!

I know that there is not a reliable pattern with touches and approvals, for now I am glad that someone is looking at our case. I think the touches last week were caused by putting our response into the system. Now it seems to be in someone's hands again ...

If we don't have an email by tomorrow morning we will call (I am in Cologne right now and I don't want to call the USCIS from a hotel room in Germany  )

Yes, I found out about the whole filling the bin thing before sending out petitions to the NVC yesterday when I called USCIS to find out if they had sent our petition out yet. I was hoping that after a long wait for our NOA2, that we would be one of the quicker ones to get to the NVC. Oh well, you are right, it should be any day now. I'm once again getting neurotic about calling. What are Jame's shortcuts, where can I find them? Thanks, Jen

Calm down Luis! You and Wendy will be just fine! Just tell her to be herself, answer truthfully, and not to volunteer any more information than needed! You on the other hand need a hobby other than drinking! Go shopping for some stuff for Wendy, clean house, or rearrange furniture?

Hi my fellow January filers!

I had my interview yesterday and I got approved!

You can read my full review in the Embassy reviews section:

http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.p...blic&page=1

Howard and I are both so excited I'll be home on Saturday!! Then we'll get busy planning our 7/20 wedding and preparing the AOS papers - we want to file those before the 7/30 fee increase.

I'm as happy as never to be going to live with my Sweetie without counting months, weeks and days left before we have to part again. But I'm also sad to leave my family and friends here. It hurts me to see their sad faces full of tears...

Well, I wish everybody luck with their interviews and see you all in the AOS section!

Congrats on your approval!! I'm with Jen on this one, I can't imagine what you guys go though, but I know Dan is facing it as well. Best of luck on the move, and just think of how fantastic it will be when he picks you up at the airport to take you home!

Haha - faster...yeah...I don't think that word exists in the vocabulary of immigration. Our NOA2 was May 30...still just waiting. Supposedly it is at the Embassy, but no Packet 3 yet. Sigh...

Congrats, Arnt, on your approval!! I know you're relieved to finally be headed out of CSC.

Yeah, we were approved on May 22nd, and apparently NVC sent our case June 6th, but still no Packet 3. I've called the DOS line a couple of times. The first lady told me my case hadn't arrived in London yet but Packet 3 was sent last Wednesday, and the second lady (who was a right ######, pardon the expression) begrudgingly told me my case arrived in London last week and Packet 3 was sent Saturday. Either way, the packet seems to be taking a long time getting from one area of London to another.

I just saw where another UK was sent by NVC on the 6th - they got P3 today. It's in the NVC thread. Shouldn't be too long, I hope.
