K1 visa approved

Hello. My fiance and I got our K1 on the 22nd, he flew to be with me at the interview and the whole embassy process went smoothly. They let my fiance into the embassy without even asking for his passport, then, they told us to sit and wait to get for fingerprinting, after that, a guy (who we thought was a consular, but he wasnt) called us to check the papers we had, my fiance stood next to me all along. That guy asked us for the papers that have to do with the I-134, we had lots of stuff but since my fiance's income is above the poverty guidelines, they only requested for his last tax return, we were pleased to hear that guy say 4 times that everything looked great. He asked us for evidence and i asked him what he wanted cuz we had everything ready we ended up giving him letters from family and friends, a couple of pictures, and 3 letters, it's worth mentioning that it meant a lot that he noticed all the evidence we had, he kept on smiling at us telling us we had more than enough and that we might be asked to add more evidence at the actual interview.

Well, they made us sit down for a couple of minutes and my fiance and i noticed the consular reviewing our file for a couple of seconds, then he took the approval ticket and called out my name. My fiance stood next to me and the consular asked me "is this your spouse?" i said "not yet, he will be, soon, though" he smiled and said "so u guys are going to live in florida" we said yes and he smiled again and asked us where we met, he asked my fiance where he works and what he does, he asked the same thing to me and i was still talking when he said "yeah yeah yeah you are approved, you will be getting your passport with your visa next week" omggggggg, my fiance and i couldnt believe it! the interview lasted less then two minutes!!! we feel so blessed and happy, it is true what they say that if you have a real relationship you shouldnt worry about anything. We thank the Lord so much for having us this present, the day of the interview was my fiance's birthday and he says it was the best because he's gotten the greatest present: ME :blush:
