Why in the world the moderators, do not require a "timeline" to be enterd before posting, is a huge mystery to me.,..,.this is a perfect example, visitors.,.,.,.no problem.,.,.,people who have "total access" to the site, should .,.,., "have to fill in their timeline's".,.,.,.,. I do not care if they are a member one day, and has filed nothing.,.,just get the timeline started.

OP, the letter you should receive, will probably reveal many mistakes, to send the whold packet back.,.,.,.,.just hang in there.,..,and go by the "excellent" guide provided by theis site!

I have. If they only sent the petition itself with no supporting evidence at all they send the entire package back.

Yes, we did it by ourselves. What would have been the supporting evidence ?

We maybe thought the job/income was the problem because my fiancé is still a student, he is poor and did not often work.

It's not necessarily bad. My NOA1 and NOA2 were received after my original documents were returned. I would say call USCIS and ask them what happened. It took about 4 months for that to happen for me, so it would seem to be on normal schedule depending on the service center.

We called them and just say to wait for the letter, which it was very frustrating.

I've never heard of people being denied after receiving their NOA1 but before receiving an RFE or NOA2.

It can and has happened before. Those that send in just the I-129F form without anything else have been denied without getting an RFE. They sometimes do not bother to send an RFE for basically everything, and just outright deny the petition for lack of any of the required supporting documentation.

Financials are not needed with the I-129F petition, so it cannot be about the income. Did you only send the I-129F form and nothing else?

Yea. I figured they would have got an RFE for a couple missing items but not a whole laundry list. Easier just to send it back and have them redo.

Requiring the timeline to be filled in before posting would be a good way to help the accuracy of igor's list BUT then U wouldn't be able to ask questions before sending package in would u?

We have sent the 129F + a paper about where we have worked and lived + copy of passport + photo + proofs we often saw each other + stamps on passport and emails + picture of us + letter to confirm our desire to get married + letters of recommendations + birth certificate for my fiancé, etc.

We followed the guide from the US gov.

It's not necessarily to use VJ site to compile a package for K-1, really, all that information on the USCIS site already, this is where it comes from to begin with, it's just more convenient, 'simple' representation here.

I did not see that you payed a 340$ fee though and sent a confirmation or a check itself, then again, you got a NOA1 and if you didn't, they wouldn't even got to NOA1 phase... you also did not mention G-325A forms for both of you, guys. If you sent those as well, the only thing that comes to my mind - they lost your whole package (we have experience with that, unfortunately). Wait for your letter, it's the only way to know.

You also don't have to fill in your timeline, which is an option in your profile, it's more a matter of courtesy so people could look at it and may be give your some pointers, it also helps to build the general picture of K-1 processing times (Igor's list).

Good luck :)

What written correspondence are they speaking of? Do you have no clue what this is about? Did you not send them anything? This is quite strange, as you did send in the required supporting documentation with your I-129F, so this is not about that are just a straight out denial of the petition.

I have not seen anything like this happen before. You would need to send an email inquiry to the address it gives you. You can also call the USCIS and ask for a tier 2 immigration officer because you need to discuss non-basic, non-routine problem with your petition submission.

We sent more proofs of our relationship because the first time we did not. And now, they sent us back all the package with this letter.

What is a Tier 2 ? I've also seen Tier 1 somewhere.

Tier1 are the operators who answer the phones at USCIS and Tier 2 is a supervisor.

So you sent more evidence looks like they rejected your application. Did you ask for your petition to be sent back to you to add evidence?

All that evidence you mentioned was that with the resend of evidence? That may be why you didn't have it with the initial.

I personally would make a INFOpass appointment at your nearest USCIS and take a copy of all you sent in and ask what is going on.
