Adjustment of Status


10/01/14 - Package (I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131 Concurrent Filing) sent to Chicago Lockbox. (Day 00)


10/02/14 - Package delivered and signed for (Day 01)


10/07/14 - Acceptance confirmation text messages/emails received (Day 06)


10/10/14 - Hardcopy NOA's for all forms received in the mail (Day 09)


10/17/14 - Biometrics letter received in the mail - Appointment October 31 (Day 16)


10/21/14 - Biometrics early walk-in completed (Day 20)


12/15/14 - EAD/AP approved email (Day 75)


12/20/14 - EAD/AP card received (Day 80)





Quick question if anyone knows, what is my current status after receiving my EAD? My last entry was on a J1. Am I still on J1 status, or is there some other status based on the EAD?

I REALLY need to update my signature, I know, but I have my EAD and my interview date- Jan 22nd

10/06/14-Package delivered and signed for (Day 3)

10/13/14-Acceptance confirmation text messages/emails received (Day 10)

10/18/14-Paper notifications received in the mail (Day 15)

10/24/14-Biometrics appt letter received- 5th Nov (Day 21)

I haven't received my notice for the interview as of today, if I dont get it tomorrow I can request an electronic copy, let's see what happens.

I filed on October 28th,

-NOA1 on November 3rd

-Biometrics on November 24th in Alexandria, VA

-Case Moved to Interview on December 19th

-Interview scheduled for January 22nd

Everything seems to be moving quickly, but should I be concerned that I got my interview date before I got any updates regarding my EAD? I have a job waiting for me and I badly need the EAD to start receiving an income

-Interview scheduled for January 22nd

Everything seems to be moving quickly, but should I be concerned that I got my interview date before I got any updates regarding my EAD? I have a job waiting for me and I badly need the EAD to start receiving an income

That's great. I filled an e-request on the 25th and today got an update, they schedule the interview on February the 5th. I haven't received any update on the EAD either. Good luck everybody.

Hello everyone hope you all had a great holidays..just got an email notice that both my EAD and Travel Doc were approved just today. Card to be received within 30 days.. thank you Lord! hope we got news on our Adjustment of status soon too! Happy new year everyone!

06/29/2015 - Went out of country for vacation

08/26/2015 - Arrived in US (DFE as PoE), used my combo card with no issue

09/11/2015 - Received notice for Scheduled Interview

10/22/2015 - Our interview day at Irvin, TX office; received approval of I485 4 hours after interview; Received approval of I-130;

10/26/2015 - Received email stating that my GC was already mailed to my address

NOA was issued 10/29, Biometrics exam was 11/18, and EAD approval email received 12/31.

Now hoping for a mid Feb interview....

Hello friends.. got another update last night that they have shipped my EAD/Travel card and gave me a USPS tracking number. Its currently in transit going to my given address. I feel very blessed already, gonna start to work from home soon to help husband with expenses (this AOS application and my pregnancy at the same time took such a big hit in our finances). But all's well, healthy baby, getting positive updates from USCIS made it all easier!
