Ah right thank you. How do I get the number to book when the time comes.

Has everyone's case gone sailing through so far? Ours has gone ok so far but feeling a bit nervous about heading to London for the next bits.

Starkly--if you will look at the top of the UK FORUM, you will see a guide for London K1s. While your visa is not K1, your medical will be just the same. Post 3 in that guide will tell you about the medical exam. No need to google. A lot of information and experience in one post.

Ok thanks. Sorry one more question what is the police certificate. Is it to say that I have no criminal record?

Yes and if you read the medical explanation in Post 3 of the K1 London guide, it will tell you why the medical people want to see the police certificate.

http://www.acro.police.uk/police_certificates.aspx <---- The forms are available here.

Yes, It's to say you haven't got any record or any dealing with drug convictions etc etc, You will also need to complete a medical questionnaire

( http://photos.state.gov/libraries/unitedkingdom/164203/cons-visa/iv_medical_letter.pdf) <----- Link to all the medical stuff you would want to know, they will also give you another form to fill in when you arrive at the medical place, Which is similar to the online one.

EDIT: It cost £245, (Not £235) When I went on Monday, I paid £280 cause I had a booster for Tetanus jab which was £35 :)

I booked my medical as soon as I had the case number from NVC but I booked it for two weeks time to ensure my Police cert had time to arrive and everything. Only a couple of days later the case arrived in London :)

I did my medical a week or two before CC. When I booked, Knightsbridge were only concerned that I would only have 6 months validity but I took the chance. London got my case on the 20th oct and updated it on the 23rd so I'm assuming they have linked my medical to case. I'm sure if cases got lost Knightsbridge would warn people that was a possibility.

I can't see your timeline, so that means nothing to me. When did you submit your stuff?

Sorry I forgot my password for the account I originally made and am logged into at home so this is my 'work account'- I made it ages ago in a hurry to post something and then its automatically logged in so I still use it!

(cant access personal emails to change the password either!)

But quick timeline:

NOA1- May 13th

NOA2- September 11th

NVC- Sept 23rd

London received on- Oct 3rd or something similar

Medical- Oct 13th

CEAC last updated- Oct 16th

Then yesterday so Oct 30th letter with interview date- 12th November

So... if you book the medical as soon as the LND number is assigned by NVC (before CEAC says it has left the NVC) is there a risk of problems down the line, should the results make it to the embassy before the case arrives from NVC?
